The Urb. San Juan de Capistrano is a well-known urbanization of Nerja, located at the foot of the natural park Sierra Tejeda-Almijara. It consists of approx. 500 houses and apartments of different sizes and types, and was designed as a reproduction of a typical white Mediterranean village, with wide avenues, very well-kept green areas, narrow streets full of flowers, and a strong Andalusian character. It has a large communal pool for adults and a children's pool. Next to the pool there is a large green area where you can rent hammocks or eat something in any of the different snack bars that are just beside the pool. It also has a supermarket a few meters away and a large restaurant serving only groups. About 1800 meters from the beach and the urban areas of Nerja, it has a bus service every 45 minutes which in its itinerary includes the Nerja downtown and its popular beaches.
