The house has 3+ acres that include grass, woods, and a stream in the backyard. The property looks onto 50+ acres of woods, with views of the Shawangunk mountain ridge.
The house is filled with custom built ins, exposed beams, hardwood pine floors. Basic amenities are provided with added extras like wifi, a TV with Roku, radio, and a guitar. The surrounding roads are peaceful and great for walks, bike rides and runs.
New Paltz, Gardiner, Rosendale, High Falls, and Kingston are great nearby places to visit!

New Paltz and Gardiner provide unbeatable access to public and private parkland, including Mohonk Preserve, Mohonk Mountain House, Minnewaska State Park, Lake Awosting, Tillson Lake, the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, Historic Huguenot Street and the Harcourt Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Hudson River Valley is ground zero for the resurgence in farmers markets and natural foods. The apple business is especially strong and when in season corn, fruits, and vegetables of all sorts are available at farm stands and markets. Ulster County has been able to take advantage of its farming community through its restaurants and the constant influx of new culinary delights created by chefs eager to attract both the local population as well as the adventurous tourist. In almost every town in Ulster County, you will find the table set for elaborate meals or simple rustic fare, in town, in a rural setting or by the great Hudson River.
