Review for week Feb 18-26, 2018

  • 4 of 5

In general the facility was clean and comfortable.

Some fundamental items one would normally expect to be provided in the kitchen were not available: e.g. a can opener and a cutting board.

It was ok

  • 3 of 5

The unit was on the third floor, and there is no elevator, which was a big problem for me as I am taking chemo and very weak. The unit was clean, nicely decorated, and in a convenient location. The location, however, made for very noisy nights; sirens, trains, helicopters, street traffic, and partiers. Also, you must be careful with the door locks or you will lock yourself out (there are seperate locks that require keys, which you won't have).

Owner's Response: Hi Julie, Thank you so much for the review and helpful feedback! Please let us assure you that we will look to update our property listing description so guests are aware of the unit’s location in the building and lack of elevator. Also, our 24/7 guest hotline is always available to call with any issues that may come up, so please let us know next time if you need anything. With regards to the locks in the building, we are a bit confused that you mention keys are required, as both locks to the building and the unit can be opened with codes which are provided to guests prior to their arrival. By the way, you were perfect guests, and we look forward to having you stay again! -The TurnKey VR Team

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Overall impression is that the apartment was roomy, clean and a great location. We stayed for 6 nights. It was just the two of us, so we each had our own bathroom and changing room. It has a lot of natural sunlight. We were afraid the kitchen would be sketchy because there are no photos but it was great. Good quality basics in terms of pots/pans/utensils/flatware. We just had breakfast in the apartment so it was plenty for us. There are TV tables since there is no designated dining area. The location is the best part being so close to the Parthenon, Vanderbilt University and the Trolly line. Downtown under $10 Lyft ride. Other reviews said it is within walking distance to Midtown which is true, but it's a significant walk if you are going in for dinner and plan on walking home. There are something like 19 eating places within 250 yards. Grocery Store and Walgreens around the corner. Two nice restaurants within a couple blocks. My concern would be that there is some construction directly below the apartment and it might get noisy in the coming months. Our last morning there, the guy came to pick up the dumpster at 5:00 AM and then the replacement arrived around 5:45 AM. Although no one has any control over that and the apartment seems to be pretty soundproof, it was really noisy and disruptive. Again, VRBO has no control over any of that. My insider tip would be that if you are going to take the "short cut" to the designated parking spot and go out the back door, do NOT deadbolt the front door! We locked ourselves out our very first day and had to ask management to call the locksmith (sort of a pain for them on a Sunday). Overall I highly recommend this apartment, especially if you are visiting Nashville for the first time and will be out and about all day. We would stay here again.

Nashville condo

  • 2 of 5

The property is in a great location two blocks from centennial park and the Parthenon. However it is in poor condition. The outlet didn't work in the master bath and another in the bedroom would flicker. The pull out couch is collapsing in the middle and the beds were uncomfortable. The third bedroom/sunroom was wet in the mornings (carpet) and the kitchen is not fully stocked-mixing bowls or casserole dishes. No seating for dining...think twice

Great location! Nice accommodations.

  • 5 of 5

Within walking distance to many restaurants and Vanderbilt University. 1/2 block off main thoroughfare. Only 10 mins from downtown Nashville. Grocery store and drugstore right around the corner from the condo. Condo was very nice and very clean. There were four of us and we never had meals at the condo. But if you're looking to have a meal there isn't any dining space. We were on vacation and didn't plan on eating in for any of our meals so the place was to our liking. We would stay there again.
