Updated for modern times, but still with plenty of rustic charm - and a great location near downtown - this cottage will take you back in time. You'll enjoy a private hot tub, and a light, unhosted breakfast, which is included in your stay.
Built in 1846, the Loeffler-Weber Cabin is the oldest Sunday House in Fredericksburg. It was built by Gerhard Rorig as a shelter from the first winter in Fredericksburg. Twenty years later, a cabinet maker by the name of Johann Loeffler added the rock and half timber rooms and a cooking fireplace. The family tradition carried on as Loeffler’s son-in-law, J. Charles Weber, added more details and expanded the floor plan. It stayed in the family for 90 years, and has since been restored and updated for use as a bed and breakfast cottage.
