Let my home be your home while I'm off exploring the world!
Newly refurbished one bedroom flat in the heart of central London, Zone 1 Kings Cross. Close to Central St Martins and UCL. Great local markets, restaurants, bars and shopping with excellent transport links across London, to airports, Europe, the U.K. Walking distance to Angel, Shoreditch, Bloomsbury, Oxford Street and Camden. There are several landmarks within a 20 minute walk, from The British Library to Platform 9 3/4 to Camden Market.
The flat is newly refurbished. It has been completely gutted to provide an open plan layout for the living area, dining area and kitchen. Brand new hardwood floors with underfloor heating have been installed across the entire property, which is great on cold London nights. The entire flat has been repainted and wallpapered.
The living area is fun, cozy and great for entertaining with seating for 10, its own miniature art gallery, large flat screen TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, Amazon Echo and disco lights. It is also a great place just to curl up with a good book and a glass of wine.
The brand new German kitchen has high gloss cabinets with white quartz countertops for a sleek and modern feel and is fully kitted out with hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Unusual for London are the washer/dryer (most flats have a washer/spinner only), a full size fridge/freezer (rather than separate under counter units) and wine fridge.
As the entire flat is on the back end of a cul-de-sac, the bedroom is very quiet for a good night's sleep and has a brand new king size bedframe and mattress. There is a double air mattress with extra linens in the bedroom closet and a cot in the living room closet for additional guests/infants.
The bathroom is large and has a full size bathtub and shower. The hot water is immediate and VERY hot, and the shower has excellent water pressure. The heated towel rail and underfloor heating comes in very handy in the winter.
Oh! There is also a large terrace at the front of the property. I rarely use it as I prefer to walk around the corner to sit off on the canal and people watch in the summer, but it is there for anyone who wishes to use it!
