About The Owner

Hello! We are Jason and Amanda Hromadnik and we have three young boys. We both grew up in small towns and when we discovered Peachland, we knew it was the place we wanted to live and raise a family. Our first summer here, we had to keep reminding ourselves that we weren't on holiday, that we actually live here and probably shouldn't spend our days drinking wine at the fabulous bistros in town! Peachland is truly a jewel in the midst of wine country and all who visit will fall in love.

The Owner purchased this house in 2015

Why The Owner chose Peachland

Very close friends of ours actually built this house and when the opportunity arose for us to buy it, we jumped at the chance! It is our dream home.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our family of 5 adults and 2 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home.It was in immaculate condition and had all the amenities that we needed. Information on the Peachland and surrounding area was provided for us too.The trampoline was a big hit with the children and the beautiful view from the 2 decks was great too. The home was less than a 10 min. drive to the downtown and a few minutes to a super zipline site that we visited. The family was very welcoming too. We highly recommend this home to a family that has young children because there are lots of toys and a safe yard to play in. With the bedrooms upstairs, the children were not disturbed in the evening.

We decided to come to Peachland from Vancouver for a few days and fell in love with this house during our search for a place to stay. When we arrived it was so much better than we anticipated. The home is beautiful, and Amanda & Jason thought of everything to accommodate guests. From games, to DVDs, to toiletries, really all we had to bring was clothes! The welcome basket of treats was a fabulous touch, and their list of recommended restaurants and activities was extremely helpful. We felt so relaxed and at home here, it was one of our best family vacations. This will be our top destination if we ever stay in Peachland again.

Spacious clean home. Well equipped.

Very clean home with lots of space. Had three kids plus grandparents and was very comfortable. Peachland was great home base to explore the okanagan wineries and beaches.

Perfect place to relax

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 5 spent a week at this lovely home. The interior is spacious and could easily accommodate a larger group than ours. It's ideal for families with 2-5 kids. The layout is open and the kitchen/dining room is perfectly setup for casual family dining, with the ability for people to cook, sit and chat, read a book, or lounge around the ample sitting areas.

The house is comfortable family luxury. It's not at all pretentious. Interior decorating is contemporary, purposeful, and designed to help you relax above all else.

The location is a short drive up the hill behind Peachland. It's in an area that is free of through-traffic and extremely peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck, sipping coffee and listening to the plentiful birds. It may be possible to get to town by bus, but a car is strongly recommended for visitors to this place. The bike ride down to the lake shore is an exhilarating long coast, but you almost certainly will want a ride up, unless you are an avid hill-loving cyclist. While no, it's not on the lake, this really didn't matter to us. We made it to the lake every day, and it was a short jaunt to Kelowna or Penticton, or any of the wonderful beach-parks nearby. So, for us, with a car, the location gave us the peace, quiet and comfort we were looking for.

The house has plenty of off-street parking (which could probably accommodate a trailer). Inside, the hot water is plentiful and the heating and AIR CONDITIONING works great. This part of Canada can get toasty in the summer, so the A/C was particularly appreciated. Dishwasher and washing machine worked great, and the host was generous to supply the requisite detergents. Internet was very responsive with good speed and Wifi coverage throughout the house. TVs are big and fully-provisioned with all the sports networks we could have asked for.

Speaking of hosts, they were excellent. They responded to our email/texts whenever we had questions, but otherwise, left us to relax on our own.

The owners clearly love their home, and it shows. We are so glad we chose this place.

Cosy; quaint; lovely homemade rustic decor; family friendly.

  • 5 of 5

There isn't a tonne of people that would open their home to you but Amanda and Jason do with the utmost consideration. Clean; quiet; cute; toys and even books for children were thought of and shared with us during our stay. Hospitable and thoughtful owners. We loved our stay with my parents and our littles. Great view for wine drinking and loved the decor.

Very Nice Stay!

  • 5 of 5

Amanda was great! The place is well stocked with everything you might need. It was a really good fit for our blended family of 6. We actually liked being away from the beach, we got our beach fix then it was nice to relax in the quiet. It was nice t have the space we needed. We would definitely go back.
