800 sq. ft Annex featuring 1 King & 1 Queen suite with Den, bathroom & kitchen

Our private 825 sq. ft annex in the charming Santa Ynez -Lompoc Valley is beautifully furnished and appointed. Enjoy the entire annex featuring both King and Queen suites, adjoining Den - dining area, full Kitchen, bathroom and dedicated patio. There are 2 - 40" TV 's, one in the King Suite and One in the Den where you can enjoy from a sofa. Full wifi is available during your stay. There is a grill and common jacuzzi and sunning deck just outside and below .

The annex is serene and has scenic views of the valley below. Wonderful quiet environs with quality appointments in the temperate area of the Santa Ynez Valley make this a special place. The mean temperature is 74 degrees annually.

We have two friendly dogs and nearly an acre of fenced land for your dogs to play in if they are well socialized. If not we have a separate fenced area for your larger dogs. Large dogs are not allowed inside the Annex but they can be in the fully fenced and secure back yard, and or separate compound at night. Smaller breeds are allowed inside.

This set up is ideal for those who want to bring their pets along rather than boarding them at an added cost.

Guests can access a secluded outdoor area on the lower oaks area of the property with a shared jacuzzi and deck.

The Mesa Oaks Annex is in beautiful Mesa Oaks at an elevation of about 1000 feet. Truly a remarkable and unique micro climate. The property and adjoining area have expansive views.

We are centrally located to some great destinations including Solvang and the Santa Ynez Valley, Santa Barbara, Rufugio Beach, Jalama beach, historic Los Alamos and Santa Maria to the North. There are 5 golf courses within 45 minutes including Sand Piper, La Purisima (10 minutes away), Marshallia Rancho and Black Lake.

Abundant hiking and biking trails. The historic La Purisima Mission and wildlife preserve is within walking distance.

We offer a pick up and drop off to the local train station called surf station for an additional fee. Amtrak supports two trains a day from Los Angeles. It is a wonderful scenic trip.

Beautiful view. Super clean. Very comfy beds. Michael and Patricia are awesome hosts.

Fresh eggs from their chickens every day! Beautiful courtyard.

What could there be not to like.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was really nice with a beautiful view of Lompoc valley. The neighborhood was quite and pleasant to walk in. The beds were extremely comfortable and the annex provided plenty of space for four. The kitchen had all we needed with a good layout.

We would love to stay here again.

Beautiful location, quiet, clean, great owners!

So glad I found this rental for my mom who was visiting--a beautiful natural setting just outside of town, very private and quiet. The apartment is attached at one end of the lovely main house and is completely self-contained: 2 bedrooms, bath, kitchen, den/eating area, and 2 TVs. It's spotless and extremely well-maintained.

The owners Michael and Patricia couldn't have been more gracious, making sure my mom had everything she needed. Their dogs and chickens add to the comfortable country feeling, with all the modern accoutrements, at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Clean place with lovely owners

Michael and Patricia are lovely. We even were given fresh eggs from their chickens. The Annex is clean but a little tucked away. It's in a nice area of Lompoc and it's pretty close to restaurants and the Wine Ghetto. There are two nice sized bedrooms with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The kitchen area has everything you need. The property has a great view and it's lovely.

We would give this place a 5 star rating but there were a couple of quirks. You enter the Annex via the garage and it's a bit dark and you can't lock it when you leave. There were no instructions on how to use the TV which was frustrating. And although there is space to lounge the furniture in that room was not comfortable.

If you want a clean, inexpensive place to stay and you don't mind quirks then this is a good place for that.
