About Murelle Farmer

Murelle hails from New England, by way of Brazil, and lived in NYC for 10 years prior to becoming a New Orleans resident. Mark is a Software Architect by day and Musician/Singer Songwriter by night. Murelle is an Advertising Sales executive by day and Equestrian by night. We live around the corner from our Airbnb. We love our neighborhood and especially Mardi Gras, Super Sunday, and Second Lines, which are blocks from our doorstep. We hope that your stay in NOLA inspires the same passion for our city that we have.

Why Murelle Farmer chose Faubourg Delassize
This is a great, centrally located apartment with easy access by Uber, or the historic Street Car, to downtown and the French Quarter. The best part is its proximity to the St Charles parade route, which is only two blocks away. In Spring and Fall it's common to find Second Line parades rolling through the neighborhood - a true new Orleans experience. Closest bars include Verrett's or Portside Lounge, both about a block away. The infamous Commander's Palace offers $0.25 Martinis with weekend brunch, and is a short 4 block walk away, in the gorgeous Garden District. Reservations recommended! More entertainment can be found with a short 10 min walk to Magazine St, where you'll find plenty of bars, restaurants, and shopping. For your basic home needs, Red Zone deli is also conveniently located one block away, carrying beer, wine, liquor, packaged goods, toiletries, microwavable foods, and more. We love this neighborhood with all its color, culture, and conveniences.

Perfect: Lovely house, amazing city!
Conveniently located for everything you could possibly want, this house is great for groups or a family who want their own space while on holiday. A short walk to the best part of magazine street. Right next to the street car stop and the best supermarket (fresh market) I’ve even been too. Was just what we needed.
Stayed in New Orleans for 3 days and this house worked well for my group of 7. The house is super clean and really spacious! Plus the owner of property was super friendly and super flexible with check in / out. Definitely enjoyed my stay there!
We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay. It was such a pleasure hosting you and your group.
All our best, Mark + Murelle
Just two blocks from our doorstep you'll find the historic New Orleans Streetcar which will take you all the way up to Audubon Zoo and the Carrollton area for Oak Street dining and bars, including infamous Jacques-Imo's restaurant and Maple Leaf bar, featuring Rebirth Brass Band every Tuesday night. Take the street car in the other direction via scenic, Oak-tree lined St. Charles to get to downtown to the CBD and French Quarter. If walking is more your style, head 8 blocks Southeast on Washington Ave for a scenic stroll past historic Commander's Palace and historic cemeteries, until you reach bustling Magazine St, rife with bars, restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops. If you're staying during Mardi Gras, you're in luck. The parades are just two blocks from your doorstep! Catch some beads, soak up some marching band music, and enjoy your proximity to your own kitchen and bathroom!
