This home has a lovely coastal style decor making for a bright, airy, happy feel. Granite countertops, new tile flooring, new bathrooms, stainless steel appliances make for a totally remodeled home.

The lanai and heated pool areas are just amazing –no lanai cage to spoil your view and allowing for lots of sunbathing. Plenty of room to dock your rental boat too.

This vacation home features a classic Florida spilt layout allowing for privacy between bedrooms. The master suite is on one end and the other 2 bedrooms and common bathroom are located on the opposite end, separated by the kitchen, family room, living room and dining room. Great for families or friends traveling together.

The home is fully furnished with all the amenities you need for a easy vacation. Linens, towels, beach towels, Laundry soap, bath soap, dish detergent, fishing poles, cooler, gas grill, etc, etc, this is a home away from home--just bring your swimsuit!

This house is in a premier neighborhood of SW Cape Coral, near the famous Rum Runners Restaurant and just minutes from the Gulf. Cape Coral is a unique location with over 400 miles of navigable canals and lakes. Great for boating or fishing.

Only 20 minutes from Fort Myers International Airport or 3 Hours from Miami and Orlando. There are dozens of good local restaurants, only a short drive to Miramar Outlet Shopping, Sanibel, Captiva and Marco Islands or visit Naples with it's upscale stores and fine dining. For wildlife visit the many National Parks in the area. Lots to do for families or couples or simply stay at home and relax in the year round sunshine.

Review of Cape Escape!

My husband Roy and I (and our little bicho-poo Ellie) vacationed in your home May 24, 2017 - May 31, 2017 and could not have been happier with the home, the pool and fenced in yard. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our little "Ellie" loved the fenced in yard and had lots of fun running around. Roy and I loved the pool and enjoyed the barbecue grill. It was a beautiful experience and one that we will never forget. Each day we said "this is like heaven". Sue and Mike were wonderful in responding to any questions or concerns. We hope to return for another vacation next year. Loved it so much. We miss it already!! Thank you!!

Updated, lovely Home

We had a great vacation at this home in Cape Coral. Lovely home in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to great restaurants at Cape Harbor. The beds were comfortable and lots of towels and linens provided. We really enjoyed the pool and had no problems with bugs or mosquitoes. The fenced yard is maintained well and fenced for our small dog. The owners were very nice and attentive to any questions we had. I would recommend this home for a great family vacation- we’re coming back again in 2019.

light bulbs out or missing. tub drain clogged

The $35.00 allowance for electricity seemed to be ok until I receive notice that an additional $28.00 was being deducted from my deposit. This means that during a very mild climate where the AC and heat were seldom used, somehow the electric bill was almost $60.00 for a week stay. I complained about the tub drain being clogged and this was not repaired after several visits by the maintenance guy. Charging me an additional $28.00 is just the straw that broke the camel's back

Owner's Response: We always appreciate feedback from our renters, thank you. I too was surprised this renter used the amount of electricity he did in just 1 week’s time. As I look at the electric company graph I send each renter, it is obvious that the usage substantially increased the day the renter arrived and plummeted the day after the renter checked out . There were renters in the home before and after this renter, neither group even approached this usage. This renter used so much electricity, I even gave him another $10 to his $35 allowance to help defray his costs. I would guess it was either due to the fact it was chilly here last week and the heat may have been on in the home (heat is much more expensive than A/C in Cape Coral) or it could have had something to do with the fact that the pool solar cover was left off the pool. This requires the pool heater to work harder overnight to keep the temperature up. We do provide instructions in the Home Manual on keeping the cover on at all times in the winter when the pool is not in use. In regards to the lightbulb, we were fortunate that the owner met the renter when they arrived and was able to change the lightbulb (spares are always kept in the laundry room) within this renter’s first 5 minutes in the home. The owner immediately responded when alerted to a clogged drain, when he was unable to fix it, a plumber was called, the correct part ordered and all was fixed within 25 hours of being alerted of the issue.

Very Nice Vacation Home

We loved this home. It had everything we needed. The house is spacious with 3 bedrooms, living and dining room, nice updated kitchen, laundry room, den off the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The pool and lanai were great. We loved having breakfast every morning on the lanai. The reservations process was fast and easy. We always got a quick response to our requests.

SO MUCH FUN!!!

We absolutely loved this home, bright and sunny, very comfortable beds. We had dinner on the screened dining area of the lanai every evening. The kitchen was fully equipped which we appreciated as the family wanted to eat in each night to stay near the pool.

The majority of our time was spent in and around the pool perfecting our tans! The pool loungers were comfortable and it was great meeting full sun all day. We recommend this home to anyone.
