A contemporary apartment of character, the subject of a full architectural restoration. The sophisticated combination of minimalist style and original 18th century features is most charming; high specification fixtures and fittings address the practicalities of modern life. We are close to Bond Street Tube, Mayfair, Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Manchester Square is nearby. You’ll love the location. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).

Lovely flat near to everything
A very functional but cozy flat in a lovely neighborhood in the middle of London. Close to everything: Oxford street, the underground and many many shops and restaurants. We are a family with the kids, aged 7 and 10, and it was perfect for us. Even the sofa bed was comfy, which is very rare :) And it was warm enough in November, even for Finns, as our homes are very well heated (since it's so cold outside...). Would and will stay again, next time in London!
Good location, charming apartment
We stayed in Gillian's apartment for 6 nights and had a great time in London. The location of this flat is good. We walked to a lot of places, took buses and the Underground. There are restaurants close by and even a good grocery store. The flat is on the third floor with no elevator, so the arrival experience isn't flashy, but we liked the apartment. There is a washing machine which we found handy. Gillian and her team were responsive and friendly. We would stay here again!
Pleasant and comfortable flat in Marleybone
Gillian is a great host -- very accommodating. The flat is pleasant and comfortable. The neighbourhood is great.
Great location and flat with a tilt-a-whirl floorplan!
We really enjoyed the flat in Marylebone. The neighbourhood was vibrant and exciting, but quiet by late night. The kitchen was fantastic and allowed us to cook comfortably, and the salon was a good place to rest. Gillian was responsive and helpful when we reached out for various items. There are two issues with the flat to be aware of. It's an older building and so the floors aren't even; this is a bit disorienting, but not necessarily an issue. The second is the very steep flight of stairs up to the 2nd floor, which can be difficult with groceries and luggage. Overall this was a good stay for us.
Lovely little flat in a great neighborhood
We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The flat was clean and cozy. Gillian is a wonderful host. She answered all of our questions about staying there and things to do nearby. She was also a great resource for getting around London easily. It is best to ask beforehand, so not to overwhelm. Our son now wants to live in London in a flat just like this one. There is great shopping nearby and good food all around. You are either a short tube ride or an easy walk from so many London attractions. The only drawback for Americans would be the lack of air conditioning when London is in the midst of a heatwave. Having the ability to open windows to catch a breeze was helpful. I hope we can visit again.
Wonderful - best hostess, perfect location, comfortable & clean
Gillian was the best hostess you could imagine! She went above and beyond in helping us organise our holiday and was full of great tips and information. She made everything so easy and when we were delayed at the airport she even phoned to see if she could help in any way. The apartment is lovely. Full of charm, an amazingly convenient location and very spacious for an inner London apartment. Clean and very comfortable with everything you could need. We have recommended to friends and will definitely stay again next time we're in London. Thank you Gillian!
