Beautiful and peaceful home tucked away in the forest

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay with Roby and his wife, we wish we could have stayed longer!

We were only there for one night, but Roby was very accommodating as soon as we arrived and even allowed us to check in a bit earlier. His property is beautiful, and we loved meeting all of his animals!

The room was clean, cozy and we had a lovely view of the pasture from our window. The room also came with a coffee maker and fridge. The location is so peaceful and feels like you're in the middle of the forest, but town is just a short drive away and we enjoyed some coffee and breakfast at one of the nearby cafes! It got a little chilly at night, but there were extra blankets provided to keep us cozy.

We were delighted to have met Roby and Kayo and hope to return to Big Island soon and stay with them again!

Thank you again!

Our hosts were very friendly!!!

It’s quiet and the bungalow was very clean!!

The property is beautiful!! They have a donkey that is so sweet and a little boxer that wants to greet you every morning.

There were a couple of things that we were not prepared for. There is no privacy there. If they would put curtains on the French doors would be the answer. The other thing is .. it gets cold nighttime and they should provide a little space heater, the floors are painted plywood so it’s cold.

Overall we had a nice stay!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the feedback. Actually the french doors have curtains but they are lace witch lets to light through and brightens the room. People can see put but people outside cannot see in. We have extra blankets for guests to use on chilly nights. Sorry you were uncomfortable. Aloha Roby and Kayo

Cosy and clean.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed only one night at Windspirit and definitely wished we could have stayed longer. Roby and Kayo made us feel so welcome when we arrived. Kayo even gave us some freshly picked delicious oranges from their tree. Loved waking up to the sounds of their farm. The sunrise was spectacular! The cottage is very cosy and sparkling clean. Mahalo Roby and Kayo. Hope we can return soon.

Magical Memories Forever

  • 5 of 5

We've enjoyed our visit immensely! The ambiance and fond memories visiting with my Tutu《Grandmother) comes back to me. The serenading coqui frogs thru the scented evenings, to the sweet songs of the morning birds celebrating another beautiful sunrise. We were blessed to have captured these memorable moments in our hearts forever. Mahalo Nui Loa! Thank you so very Much!!!
