Penthouse condo with ocean view!

Wake up to spectacular ocean views in the Penthouse which features a queen bed, walk in closet, and lanai. The living room has a pull-out sofa bed for extra space. This is a popular building with residential feel and great amenities, close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Ocean views from the living room and bedroom, and a large lanai perfect for morning coffee or sunset martinis.

Our condo has a full kitchen, gas range, microwave, and dishwasher. It is fully stocked with , pots and pans, toaster, coffee maker, and a rice cooker and more. Weber BBQ grills are available on the rooftop deck. There are bar stools to visit while the chef cooks or a table for dining.

The building features a recreation deck with swimming pool, hot tub. Large commercial laundry room, and a rooftop deck with BBQ's for entertaining or enjoying cocktail hour from the rooftop.

Free Parking is available in an assigned stall. The Food Pantry supermarket is a block walk away, or choose a short drive to Whole Foods, Safeway or Times Super Markets if you are looking for local grown there are a number of Farmers Markets within walking distance just a block at the Waikiki Community Center or to King’s Village, or a short drive to the Kapiolani Community College farmers market.

Perfect place to stay

Had a wonderful stay, spectacular view! Close to all the shops. McDonald's and the beach was less than half a mile walking! Great for families and the coffee and pineapple was sweet touch to staying at the Waikiki Lanai. Beach towels, chairs inner tube, and bodyboard was also a plus, no need to worry about rental or purchasing. Parking was a squeeze, but that's similar across any rental. We had a mid-size SUV and found that reverse parking was easier. Ms. Mary answered all our questions and checking in/out was a simple process. Would definitely recommend the stay!

Everything we needed

This condo is secure and walking distance to the beach. It comes with a parking stall which was great. It was clean and tastefully decorated, but dated. That didn’t matter because it provided everything we needed and everything was maintained and functional. Our only complaint was the fire alarms going off and on between 2:30 and 3:30 AM the last night of our stay.

Convenient location

The condo is located walking distance to Waikiki beach and many shops and restaurants. Rooms are very nice and the facility has BBQ area that you would use. There are so many restaurants that we wanted to try so we didn't have a chance to take advantage but looked nice.

Parking access was nice to have too although we rented car only 2 days.

Mary was very nice and responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay and we will stay again when we are back.

Tusitala penthouse

We thought the location was very good, especially after we learned the path over to the main street coming up from the beach. Early morning and evening on the lanai was lovely. We would have appreciated a bar of soap in the bathroom and some real coffee (not a partially full jar of instant) especially since we had arrived late at night.

We also would have appreciated having the information on how to get into the apt beforehand. Again, it was late at night when our plane arrived. I called - five times- as instructed and was about to go to try to find a hotel when Mary finally answered and instructed us how to get in.

We did use some info in the binder left for us to book a Pearl Harbor tour. We would have liked specific restaurant recommendations for the immediate area.

Would we stay here again? - Most definitely!

So great that you found the 3 ring binder of restaurants and local attractions so helpful as it is for a lot of travelers. We provide liquid soap as bar soap leave a residue. We apologize about the short time it took to get you checked in. I have not mastered the art of talking to two people at the same time. And to this day I only take one phone call at a time. Due to security of our guests prior to departure we do not give access codes until date and time of arrival. We look forward to your staying with us again.

Poor location, overpriced

ocean view was nice but no amenities provided such as bath soap, dish washer soap, etc. which should be minimal provisions. Room A/C was very noisy - had to turn off at night to be able to sleep. Value was less than expected, hotel stay probably would have been a better choice.

Jogging up Kalakaua Ave along the Ocean and around Kapiolani Park or, hiking world famous Diamondhead it is all doable from our wonderfully situated Penthouse Suite.
