3 BR 2 Bath Lakefront Barnwood Bungalow Lake Access, Property #2
About Kathryn Rosenbaum
My name is David. I am a retired landscaper from Vine Grove Ky.
Kathryn Rosenbaum purchased this House in 2015
Why Kathryn Rosenbaum chose Leitchfield
I purchased this house because it is next door to my other property that I also rent out. It was an original 1950's lake house with the potential of having an amazing view. I started by removing some trees and cleaning up the outside. Once inside the house I gutted all but the two small bedrooms and doubled the size of the original house and added the wrap around deck.

Great little family getaway
The owners have done a wonderful job on the renovation of this property. Looks better in person. Very clean and inviting. They have provided all the extras!
We took our Mom to celebrate her 80th, she even walked down the steps to the water.! She loved her stay!
Oh I'm so glad she enjoyed her birthday! I hope I can do those stairs at 80! Good for her.
I loved the place. It’s just hard with the grandkids keeping them entertained. My husband and I enjoyed it though.
We loved IT!
This cabin comes highly recommended. Very Clean, well stocked and very comfortable.
We can't wait to come back!
Peaceful and secluded
This property was all you could ask for if you like privacy with a peaceful setting. The remodel of this house was neat to see. It is beautiful. Lake access and a nice surprise down the steps in back awaits you. The rock formation was very unique.
Beautiful home of the river
The property was as described and SO beautiful. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our time at the home. Thank you for making our stay memorable!
Peaceful and relaxing
We really enjoyed our stay. The house and deck were nice and comfortable for our family with 5 adults. It is a little bit of a hike down to the river, might be a little challenging with small children. There is a state park nearby tho, that might be easier for small kids to swim. It wasn't an issue for us. We rented a pontoon from the marina across the way and really enjoyed our day exploring the river/lake area and pulled up to an island and swam for a while. It was perfect! The owners have the information on the marina there. We had a minor issue with the wifi when we first arrived and the owners handled it right away. And we lost power one night due to storms and the owners contacted us in the morning to let us know what they had learned. My husband found a candle in the cupboard above the refrigerator, the only one I didn't check, of course;) That would be my only suggestion, to maybe have a candle in a little more noticeable spot. We had our phone lights so it was fine. We (l) just worried about how long the power would be out and how long our phones would last. It was back on the next morning, I was rather surprised it was so quick. You feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere there so I was expecting it to be out for days.
Thank you for sharing your home and being so easily available. We enjoyed the house and area so much we plan on heading south again next summer!
