Beautifully renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath house at MM 49.5 in Marathon, on a canal (5 foot minimum depth) in protected Boot Key Harbor with quick access to the ocean. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it is less than a mile to Publix/Winn Dixie, K Mart, Home Depot, West Marine, a deli/liquor store, many restaurants, and the 33rd Street public boat ramp. The house has 50 feet of dockage, a plunge pool, a large, partially screened-in upper deck, and parking for your car(s) and boat trailer. There is also a propane grill, washer/dryer, bait cooler, fish cleaning table, and storage space for your convenience.

The house is nicely furnished, with Plush queen size beds in 2 bedrooms and 2 twin beds in the third bedroom. It has central A/C and ceiling fans throughout. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances including a microwave and dishwasher, as well as a toaster, blender, slow cooker, and a Keurig coffee maker. There is seating for six in the dining area, high speed internet/WiFi, a 55 inch flat screen TV (cable) and DVD player in the living area, and a TV in the master bedroom. Two of the bedrooms and the living room have sliding glass doors that lead out to a large upper deck with a picnic table overlooking the canal. Linen, bath and pool towels are also provided.

Nearby attractions include Sombrero reef (snorkeling/scuba diving), the Turtle Hospital, the Dolphin Research Center, the Florida Keys Aquarium Encounter, the Old 7-mile bridge, and of course, Key West.

Come and enjoy your vacation at my beautiful Conch House. It rents weekly, Saturday to Saturday, and sleeps six people.

Great House

This house is extremely clean, very recently renovated, and nicely finished and furnished. The house is not big but is very efficient - we are a family of 6 and were very comfortable. The beds were great and the bathrooms were ultra clean. When I say the house was clean, I mean absolutely spotless from top to bottom. The pool is a great feature - again, not huge but efficient and perfect for kids or jumping in after a day of heat and saltwater. You do hear and see cars on US-1 when you are outside but it wasn't a huge deal for us. The screen porch and open deck are spacious. This was the perfect launching pad for Keys activities. The owner was easy to deal with and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend the Conch House!

Great house, pool and Access to Boot Key Harbor

We enjoyed our week stay over 4th of July. House had plenty of dockage and parking for our 2 boats. Neighbors are very friendly and street is quiet even though it’s close to US1. Salt water pool was great way to relax and hide from the sun. Fireworks over Sombrero beach were awesome and viewable from house and end of street. 4-Star only due to property at end of canal and 20 minute idle out to Atlantic or gulf side. Overall a nice property and will stay again if schedules work out! Thanks Paula for sharing it with us!!!

This place is beautiful! Perfect in every way!

This house is completely redone, beautifully decorated. It has all the amenities....boat dock, pool is the perfect size right by the water. There's laundry room, grill, bait freezer downstairs. Owner has even supplied little things like k cups, bars of soap, laundry soap, etc. She was very easy to work with and i definitely would return. The neighbors are amazing as well!

Clean well equipped home, perfect for our family of five

We had a wonderful stay in Marathon at Paula’s house. Everything was super clean, the home is well equipped with new appliances, and the screened in deck with a roof off the back of the house overlooking the canal was a big plus, we ate all of our meals that we had at home there. The small pool was perfect for the kids(5, 3, & 1) We paid for the heat and weren’t disappointed with the temperature set at 89! Made it easy for the little ones to get in, and hard to get them out!

The location was central to everything that we had planned (Dolphin Research Center, Aquarium, Multiple trips to sombrero beach and a day trip to Key West), and to groceries and lots of choices for restaurants, even a few good ones within walking distance.

Maybe a little close to the main highway, but it is not easy to get away from, and it really didn’t bother us, very quiet inside with the doors closed. There is certainly still a fair bit of damage from hurricane Irma last fall, but you can tell it won’t be long until it is cleaned up. Lots of work being done.

If we come back to Marathon we will stay here again. Thanks Paula.

Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our first time renting a vacation home. It won't be the last. The Conch House met all our needs and expectations. Perfect location for our daily activities. We enjoyed the pool and our Daughter even caught a fish from the dock. It really was home away from home.

Perfect house for our family!

This home was perfect for our family of 4. We rented a boat and kept it out on the canal (side note: I wouldn't get a boat from Vacation Boat Rental). The house is fairly close to Coffin Patch and Sombrero Key for good diving and snorkeling. The pool was great for a dip after being in the ocean all day and was kept very warm even with the low temps we experienced a couple days on our trip. The owner did an excellent job responding quickly to our questions and processing our security deposit refund.

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
