About Laura Stewart
I am originally from Michigan (Go MSU!!) and moved to Idaho to raise my family (Yeay BSU!!). A school teacher with a love of travel and meeting people. I am outgoing, active, and artistic. My latest artistic talents have been with glass. I enjoy yoga, hiking, time to get lost in my house doing my art, my bike, and time with those I love.
Laura Stewart purchased this House in 2015
Why Laura Stewart chose La Misión
The sun, the beach, the many treasures to explore! This area is a spring board to some amazing wine country. Be ready to take a few dirt roads and taste some exceptional wine, eat amazing food, and soak up some sea air! Two necessary stops are Nativo and Vena Cava for wine and Magana's and K-38 for food. Just to get you started.
What makes this House unique
Mornings with a cup of coffee on the roof make for a beautiful start of the day. This area is an excellent starting point for travels in any direction. The wine country has become my current love. Be ready to explore. Get off the main road and try a mysterious dirt road with a simple sign directing you to a winery you have never heard it! Wonderful people at the end of it! Be sure to say Hi to Benjamin at Nativo!! A late night stroll watching the sun set and an evening campfires wrap the day up. There is a tv and movies are remember to unplug and try something new!

The house was nice and quaint perfect for small family.
The beach is a short distance and it was nice to have both houses. It was clean and cozy. The people here are very nice and welcoming.
Excellent and cozy house. We had melodic moments there indeed.
Quiet, clean, empty beach, friendly neighborhood.
Just watch out for rip tides
Thank you for noting the rip tides. I have not experienced them, but have heard. So glad you enjoyed your visit.
Loved it easy access to the beach very quiet
House was beautiful very quiet near to the beach just loved it I will recommend it to my friends
Lovely, spacious and relaxing home feet away from the beach
My husband, toddler and boxer enjoyed a fabulous weekend at Leslie's place. The home is spacious, the kitchen is large, central and has everything you need, all rooms were absolutely clean. The house has lovely details like phrases in Spanish, places to visit, a great collection of games, books and movies and a fabulous view of the ocean from the rooftop.
The setting is exactly what we wanted: calm, peaceful and within walking distance to a long, uncrowded beach. Will certainly return!
Thank you for the kind words and feedback. It is a peaceful place, a little escape. Look forward to your return. L.
Great House in La Salina, located in a quiet gated beach side community.
Great house with beach access across the street. Ocean views from the roof top deck.
Perfect location to launch to Ensenada for a day trip or for fun in the Wine Country.
The La Salina Cantina is a 10 minute walk. The Cantina has great food, friendly staff, and an outside patio area.
Highly recommend staying at Laura's house!
So glad you had a good time and enjoyed all of the little wonders. The deck, wine, and walking to the Cantina. L.
Laura's home is very comfortable. The yard and roof top view spectacular. The neighborhood folks and staff at the Cantina are beyond words. Fortunate enough to spend a long visit and it felt like home. The area is very special. Thank you for everything!
There are Baja travel books to help your exploration of this amazing area. I would HIGHLY recommend the Vinicola (Wine Country), there are maps and suggestions in the house binder - I would be happy to arrange a wonderful itinerary to give you an in depth look into some of the wineries. There are many unique places! Some suggested places are Nativo, Vena Cava, and Popotla.
