Enjoy a week of relaxation in "Sugarloaf Hideaway" located on the waterfront in downtown Morehead City. Sugarloaf Hideaway is a 2 bedroom upstairs condo (no elevator) with a panoramic view of the waterway. This fully furnished condo comes with a full-size kitchen equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, and plenty of cooking and dining utensils. Televisions are provided in the living room and the master bedroom. The balcony provides a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee, sipping a glass of wine, or just relaxing in the sun with a good book. Amenities include linens, iron/ironing board, blow dryer, luggage bench, 12 cup coffee maker, washer/dryer, WIFI, 2 bicycles, and 2 parking spaces in lot directly across the street.

Big Rock Landing as well as shopping, restaurants and nightlife are all within walking distance. Morehead City Ferry Service is located within 3 blocks providing boat service to Carrot Island, Bird Shoal, Sand Dollar Island, and Sugarloaf Island. Also Beaufort, voted "Coolest Small Town" is only 3 miles away. If you are lucky, you will see wild horses just off Front Street on Carrot Island.

Wonderful Stay ! Home away from Home

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Sugarloaf Hideaway. The condo's location is perfect - right on the water and within walking distance to the great restaurants & shops along the Morehead waterfront. The condo is beautifully decorated and had all of the comforts of home. We brought our boat and had perfect docking with a floating dock with easy access and short ride to our favorite fishing spots. The owners were so nice and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again on our future visits.

Impressive!

Very well established property! The owners more than prepared guests for a pleasant stay! No detail left undone even down to a bicycle tire pump for the bicycles available for use! The decor is tasteful and pleasant. Loved the views. Kitchen well stocked for the chef who wants to cook on the water. Close to everything downtown.

Great Location!!

This was the perfect place to stay! You can really park your car and never get in it the whole time! We walked to all the restaurants and shops. Centrally located to everything. 3 miles to Beaufort where we went to get on ferry to Shackleford banks to see the wild horses. We will be staying here again most definitely. Owner very responsive to texts when needed. We had a wonderful time!

Superb Property and Responsive Host!

Sugarloaf Hideaway was everything it was advertised to be. Quite, roomy, and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Inter-coastal Waterway. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed for a week of local shipwreck diving and sightseeing. The owner was super responsive to every question or request we had; always responding to our texts within minutes. I almost didn't write a review for fear the word would get out but that wouldn't be fair to the wonderful people that own Sugarloaf Hideaway.

I definitely plan on coming back next summer.

Great, great hideaway

Sugarloaf Hideaway is just that....a special hideaway with a spectacular view. It is clean, comfortable, and located within walking distance of shops and restaurants; only a short drive to beaches. So relaxing to sit on the deck watching boats, shorebirds, and just "chilling". The owner is very accessible, and so kind to work with. Our annual sister reunion here was excellent. Thank you Mary!

RENTAL RULES

Please note: This Rental is for Family Groups only - Teen or College groups, chaperoned or unchaperoned, are strictly prohibited. All House Parties are strictly prohibited without permission of Owner. Any violation of these rules may result in eviction without recourse.

1. Smoking is NOT allowed. Do not litter cigarette butts on balcony or around premises.

2. Grilling is not allowed. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. Please do not dispose of grease, coffee grounds, or other cooking liquids in the sink or toilet (personal hygiene items).

3. No pets allowed on the property.

4. Place household trash outside in the garbage receptacle for 405 E located in front of building.

5. Please use caution on the Dock. No diving or swimming due to the strong current.

6. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to above.

7. Condo is located on 2nd floor above private businesses. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs nearby facilities.

8. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. Two designated parking spaces are located in the lot across the street from rental unit.

9. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the unit.

Check-out time is 11:00 am. Cleaning crews will arrive promptly. Any questions please call Danny/Mary McQueen at 252-236-2660.
