Aquavilla Complex is conveniently located on Okaloosa Island outside Fort Walton Beach city limits. It is midway down the island on Santa Rosa Blvd. Approximately 1/2 mile off of Hwy 98. The area is known for its tranquil lower key family atmosphere. Beaches are beautiful and less crowed. We are a mere 5 miles from the fast pace popular city of Destin. Both Destin and Fort Walton offer a multitude of restaurants, gift shops, and entertainment locations.
Our unit is a 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Condo located directly beach front on the 4th floor of this 24 unit complex. The view is beautiful. The property has a swimming pool for when you are not on the beach. It has lounge chairs, tables, chairs and a few umbrellas. The beach is very close and depending on tide is approximately 100 steps from the complex.
The new owner, beginning in May of 2016, has worked very hard to make this a unit of choice. There have been many upgrades since its purchase. The unit is centrally air conditioning, with ceiling fans. It comfortably sleep 6 adults with 2 Full size beds in the guest room and a King in the Master. All bedding, linens, blankets, and decor are new.
They have fully stocked the kitchen with all items necessary to prepare complete meals. There are plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and dishware. There is also a coffee maker and blender. Kitchen host a Bar top kitchen and table for eating areas. All appliance are new stainless steel. It has a large refrigerator with ice maker.
The den features a comfortable leather sofa and chair which all recline. There are TV's in both bedrooms and a 55" LED TV in the Den. Cable TV and internet with Wifi is provided.
All rentals come with 12 sets of Bath towels, Hand towels and Wash cloths. Owner also provides 6 beach towels for use during stay. Unit is stocked with initial start up supplies of Paper towels, Toilet Tissue, Trash can bags, Hand soap, Bath Soap, Dishwasher packets, Dish washing soap, Air freshers, and Kleenex.
During the periods of March 1st through October 31 the owner also provides guest with FREE daily beach service of an umbrella and two chairs. These are set up by a local beach vendor every morning and removed late afternoon.
The owner is very accommodating and works closely with all clients to achieve a great vacation experience. They want you to receive value for the hard earned money being put towards a deserving vacation. Treating others with respect and properly representing what we offer is important. Please consider them for a vacation rental location.

We have been traveling to Florida for over 38 years. Finally we decided to purchase a Condo. We have family members who live on Okaloosa Island and also have Condo's. We call this property our second home but are happy to share the beautiful piece of paradise with others.

Relaxing stay, beautiful views
This property was well-maintained and decorated beautifully. It housed our family more than adequately and was very comfortable. The views were amazing and the beach was only steps from property. We had a great time and would definitely stay at this property again.

Relaxing place to stay with beautiful ocean view!
We enjoyed our stay at Aqua Villa! The view was gorgeous and it was relaxing to hear the ocean waves right outside your door. The beach at Ft. Walton is one of the most beautiful beaches we have been to in Florida. The condo was comfortable and well decorated with a beach theme, even down to the plates and bowls. The king bed in the master was comfortable and the bedroom had beautiful decor. Fortunate to have great weather when we were there and took some long walks on the white sand beach. We will definitely be back to stay!
Beautifully decorated ocean front condo
This was a quaint oceanfront condo that was beautifully decorated. It was quiet and relaxing stay.
Older building, but well maintained. Beautiful beach view. Very pleased with our experience.
Loved the condo. When we walked in, we felt like we were at home! The owners have done an excellent job with decor and making you feel very much at the beach. I contacted them a couple of times throughout the week and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. We would not hesitate to book this same condo again.
As much as I wanted to give this place an excellent rating, I can’t. First thing I have to say is that the condo was nice and updated which is what my wife and I was expecting. Second thing is the bed was very comfortable and we took a nap every single day. Now to the unfortunate parts. Although up until we checked in, the property owner seemed very caring. First thing we noticed was white dog/cat hair all over the comforter, couch and second bed room. Second thing was a couple of holes in the ceiling, no big deal but kind of weird. Third thing is the shower in the bedroom had a loose knob that came off easily. Fourth thing is the shower in the hall only had one sliding door which I thought was kind of strange. Fifth thing was that the window in the living room leaked whenever it rained and left probably a half inch to an inch in a bucket. Sixth and final thing that gave us our decision on whether or not we would be coming back here was when I messaged the property owner via text about the dog hair and the leaking window on Sunday and never received a text back. I thought that those two things were kind of big deals. First because if anybody had a pet allergy that it could become an issue and I know it’s pet friendly, but some people don’t pay attention and the water issue I thought was a big deal because it’s a safety hazard. With wet tile someone could slip and fall. The impression that gives me as a customer is when the property owner knew we were in and he had his money, he didn’t want anything to do with the customer.
HAIR-There was a renter prior to your stay who had a pet. The cleaning crew did not remove all of the hair. The crew has been replaced and our unit is no longer pet friendly. This has never been an issue and certainly will not be in the future
HOLES IN THE CEILING-This building was recently rewired to upgrade cable infrastructure. As part of the contract all holes were to be covered and later repaired. This was completed with new Sheetrock repairs.. We apologize for the contracted company failing to get these covered prior to your arrival
SHOWER KNOB- Knobs in showers were removed for cleaning. When they were replaced a screw was lost of misplaced by cleaning crew. It has been secured and this problem is resolved
SHOWER DOOR-The hall shower had one door because a previous guest damaged the other slider. The damaged door was removed until full correction could be made. There was a fully functional shower curtain and liner in place at the time of your rental
LEAKING WINDOW-The living room window had a broken seal. This was reported to our management firm. This is an item that is repaired by them. The seal was replaced and the leak is no longer present. The entire complex is scheduled for window and door replacements along with paint in the off season
RESPONSE FROM OWNER-We provide our phone number to all of our renters. We typically answer on first call or quickly return calls. We do not conduct our business by text message as a rule. Nevertheless, We did respond to your text by placing a call to address your concerns. We did not receive an answer or call back. This is a policy we maintain and is evident in previous reviews. It was not until we received this review that we became aware there were multiple issue with your stay
We are saddened your stay was not as you would have expected. We believe the review is a bit confusing for most. It begins with "The first thing you have to say is that the condo was nice and updated which is what" your wife and you were expecting
It seems contradicting by listing 6 items you feel deserve reducing the rating.
Unit was booked by a parent. We maintained continuous contact with them prior to your arrival and with you when your contact information was received
Your impression as a customer regarding "When we know your in and we get your money we don't want to have anything to do with you" is not only untrue it is unfair. Regardless we do not believe the low the rating given is justified.
It looks to be an older property that is being revitalized. It has great beach front access.
The condo looked to be older but was in the process of updates. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect, literally steps from the beach. The owner was easy to communicate with.

We provide daily beach service of 1 umbrella and two chairs by local vendor between March 1 and October 31. Owner may agree to splitting payments into a group of 3 payments. Please inquire if this is an option that is helpful to you.
