About Teri Kelly
We're two sisters and a hubby/brother-in-law who have a passion for downtown Lexington and refurbishing old buildings. Teri and Chris live just down the street on West 3rd Street and love everything about the area.
Teri Kelly purchased this Apartment in 2012
Why Teri Kelly chose Northside District
Beautiful 1920's home with "great bones" and a hard-to-find English garden in a city setting. We've refurbished and vacation-rent both the downstairs and the upstairs apartments. We love all of the people we've met from across the world.
What makes this Apartment unique
We passionately refurbished this home to make it as warm and comfortable on the inside as it looks from the outside. The peaceful garden is a wonderful place for a glass of wine and a book or outdoor dining for a group.

Great home and location
This is a well-maintained and very nice home in a great location. It is a short walk to many bars and restaurants downtown and is on a quiet street. Teri is a great hostess and was very accommodating with quick communication. The space had everything we needed. The only complaint I have is that it is a duplex; during our stay there were several loud people staying above us. While trying to sleep we could hear every footstep they took and word they spoke. Other than that this is a great place to stay.
Beautiful house, Great location
This house was PERFECT. Teri is a dream to work with. She answered all of my questions and made sure they I had everything that I needed. I cannot say enough great things about this house. It was raining super hard the morning that we were leaving and we noticed a slight leak in the back bedroom ceiling. I notified Teri and I am sure they are going to get it fixed. Other than that, this was seriously the best place to stay. One note: This is just the bottom floor. There are people living upstairs. So we could hear a child running around in the morning. It didn't bother us but it is something to keep in mind. Teri - You are the best! Thank you for everything!
Homey, close to lots of stuff... very attractive remodel of an older home. Well done! Great value! Look forward to the next opportunity we have to rent this simple but comfortable home. Thanks, Teri!
Charming, Cozy, Clean, Victorian in Historic Lexington
Loved staying at this charming home in the Northside District of Lexington! The beds were comfortable, the towels and linens were fresh and clean and the decor was spot on! I especially loved the chic dining area! It is decorated in black and white, lit by a chandelier and accented with a custom made wood industrial shelving - such a fun combination of glam and comfort! I highly recommend this home to other vacationers looking to experience the historic allure of Lexington. Thank you Teri for your hospitality and creating a comfortable and charming space I was able to enjoy during my travels to Kentucky!
2nd time back and still love it!
We stayed here about a year ago and were so happy it was available again this year. The apartment is just as we remembered, beautifully furnished, very clean, comfy beds and great location. One thing I also really appreciate is the bedding is so clean and perfume-free, I have some allergies and I felt very safe here and had no problems.
Plus, you can easily walk downtown for a coffee and to nearby restaurants and parking out front was never a problem. Teri has always been super friendly and helpful if we needed anything for the apartment or information about town. This place will certainly remain on our list for best places to stay in downtown Lexington!
The owner responded very quickly. Easy process. The apartment was great. Clean, tastefully done. Beautiful backyard space. Comfortable living area as well. We totally enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
The property is conveniently located within walking distance of all of Lexington's downtown attractions including Rupp Arena, restaurants, shopping and the Explorium of Lexington (Lexington Children's Museum). An easy two block walk gets you to Jefferson Street, a renovated entertainment district of bars, breweries and restaurants. Or, visitors could make a quick 7-10 minute drive to the up-and-coming Distillery District, Lexington's newest entertainment district.
If you're headed to the Kentucky Horse Park, it's only 9 miles and 15-20 minute drive.
