Our Beach House is located in the Colington Harbour Subdivision in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina
Colington Harbour is a private gated subdivision located in the heart of the Outer Banks. The harbour serves as home to a thriving boating community featuring miles of canals and scenic sound front homes along the beautiful Albemarle Sound. The deep water canals, ideal location, and the year round residents have made the harbour one of the premier destinations along the Atlantic coast.

Why Marc Delbusso chose Colington Harbour
We have been vacationing in the Outer Banks since the 1980's. We purchased this property in 2012 and performed a total restoration. We love the community and love the water view from the front porch.

Lovely home in a great location.
Clean and Comfortable
My husband and I would highly recommend this home for a vacation rental. It was clean and had all the comforts of home including a comfortable bed in the master bedroom, ample drawer and closet space for clothing, very nice kitchen with an island for extra counter space, quality kitchen appliances, cookware and all the silverware and cooking utensils you would need, comfortable furniture and extra soft blankets, a nice selection of movies for viewing on their large, flat screened TV, another TV in the master bedroom, and a DVD player in the kids' bedroom, games/toys in the kids' bedroom, a small deck with a seating area off the middle bedroom facing the back of the house, and many other nice features. The house has a lovely porch in the front which looks out on the Albermarle Sound (it is not on the water but is across the street from houses which are) and is such a quiet and serene place to sit with your morning coffee. The house is beautifully decorated in a beach theme with interesting items throughout the home. It also has a carport and an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand when coming back from the beach. My husband and I stayed there alone, but this house could easily accommodate two couples or a family with a few children. The development is also very nice with amenities such as a pool and tennis courts, but be mindful that the pool closes in mid-September. The owners are very responsive and nice people, and are easily accessible if you have any questions or problems. We would happily return here if we were to plan another trip to the Outer Banks.
What a wonderful and clean house and a pleasant & safe neighborhood, plus a great view of the sound!
We really enjoyed our stay in Collington. We had never stayed on the sound side and we found it to be a wonderful experience. The Debusso's house was perfect for our family of six and it was very clean and nicely decorated. It was stocked with everything we needed from kitchen items to linens and games and movies. It is a short drive from the main drag which we did not mind at all. We actually considered that a plus. It definitely was not too far away from anything. Collington had much of what we needed anyway. Collington Pizza, the local convenient store and Billy's Seafood market were all fabulous. Marc was very responsive and helpful through the pre-rental phase as well as while we were there. We would absolutely recommend this awesome place and these very accommodating owners to anyone we know.
Beautiful beach house and so relaxing!
The beach house was beautifully decorated with the beach in mind. The view was gorgeous and relaxing. There were so many extra things included to make vacation that much simpler. The pool and private beach area were very welcoming. The neighbors even greeted us, as we crossed paths. It felt like home away from home. Marc and Melissa are wonderful. From suggestions on food and actoivities, to checking in to see how it's going. After an hour and a half of being on the road, I thought I had left my earrings. They had family go check for me. We would go back again in a heart beat. Thank you so very much for your hospitality!!! We loved every minute.
Enjoyable Place to Stay Overlooking the Bay
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and comfortable beach home. The home was updated and had all the amenities that were listed. Our family of five had plenty of space and found it a great place to stay during our vacation. The owner was very good about answering our questions in a timely manner. It is a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the community pool, basketball and tennis courts. There is a short drive to the Community Center, local beaches and Outer Banks attractions from this home, but we did not see it as a major issue.
We would highly recommend this home for anyone vacationing in the Outer Banks based on our experience.
Our family enjoyed every bit of our vacation. This home was everything I would want in a beach house. Beautiful Location , decor was gorgeous, Extremely clean, comfortable, fully equipped, spacious enough for the four of us. Not to mention the view. We enjoyed the community pool daily, the small beach area behind the pool was perfect and calm for the little ones. The owners were very responsive and helpful to our needs and making sure they were available if we had any further questions. Our favorite day trip was to Corolla on the wild horse tour and it's history. Wrights brothers memorial, A day trip to Hatteras island lighthouse and a swim on the beach next to the light house. The water was so gorgeous and green. We try to see somewhere new each year. But would love another trip back to NC in our near future. Thank you again, Marc & Melissa. We hope to return to your home soon.
