About the property

Come enjoy the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains and relax in the comfort of our cozy log cabin. We are nestled conveniently off the spur between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This is a great place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. You can relax by a fire in the stack stone fireplace, doze in the rocking chairs on the covered porch or soak in the hot tub.

The cabin is beautifully decorated with all the conveniences of home and features three stained glass windows. We have two bedrooms each with a king bed. There are two full baths, one with a whirlpool tub.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Wayne! First let me thank you for talking Tammie and I to the cabin Friday night. That was quite the adventure! The girls all had a wonderful weekend and could not say enough how beautiful your cabin was. I think a returned trip to your cabin is In our future. Thank you again for sharing this wonderful place.

PS. We did look at the fireplace at the end of the drive. What is the history of it?

Perfect!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! The pictures do not do the cabin justice. It was beautiful and perfect! The instructions to the cabin were extremely helpful. We will absolutely look into vacationing in this cabin again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed the cabin it was very nice.

  • 4 of 5

Our experience was good. The only problem was on Tuesday night a storm came through taking down trees and power lines. We were unable to get to the cabin. We had to hike in to get our dogs. We then had to rent a motel for the night. Other than that we had a good time. Any chance of getting reimbursed for the motel stay?

Amazing location and exceptional quality for the price

  • 5 of 5

First and foremost I was shocked by how nice the cabin was for the price. Not only was it 20 mins from Dollywood, it was right between the pigeon forge strip and the gatlinburg strip. As for the cabin itself, it was very nice and spacious, and overly accomidating for three adults. Also prior to arriving to the cabin the communication and cooperation from the cabin owner was great, she made my first rental very easy. Lastly I must give props to the housekeeper, she left the cabin very clean and that has always been a big issue with me so props to her. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone from one to five guests.

Perfect place for relaxing

  • 5 of 5

My daughter and I are teachers and at the last moment decided to get away and relax for a few days. I made this reservation at the last minute and the owner was very accommodating and even allowed us to check-in early since the cabin had already been cleaned. I needed to find a pet friendly cabin and the owner graciously allowed my 14 pound maltipoo to stay.

The cabin was very clean and the location is fabulous. It is far enough away from the crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but still close to the Smoky Mountains and dinner in Pigeon Forge if desired. I didn't cook much but whatever I needed I found. The kitchen has not been updated but it was very functional. There were also plenty of towels, soap & toilet paper which I has not always been the case with other rentals I have stayed at.

I spent a lot of time on the porch which has 2 rocking chairs, a picnic table and a hot tub. The Internet connection was good which was important to my daughter. I felt completely at home in the cabin and would love to come back sometime soon and do some more hiking in the Smokies.

I would stay here again.

  • 5 of 5

Charming & cozy with comfortable beds. Better than the pictures indicate. We were there solely for exploring the Great Smokey Mountain Park each day. Easy access onto the bypass to avoid downtown Gatlinburg going to & from the GSMNP. Convenient enough to 321 for accessing the N side of the GSMNP. Close enough to Kroger/Publix in Pigeon Forge. The location is a good compromise between Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & the GSMNP. My 21 & 20 yr olds liked the cabin. Cozy, charming, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, working fireplace, large bathrooms, 2 large couches, a recliner, & floor space to spread out. Never ran out of hot water! Large open & large covered porches. Minimalist, but functional kitchen. Clean but not detail clean. When searching for TV remote in couch crevices, found lots of chips, peanuts, trash, etc. from prior guests. In 6 nights we went thru the only two kitchen garbage bags & the one roll of paper towels we could find. Reasonably priced for the net result so I would stay here again. The pluses outnumbered & outweighed the minuses. No view of the GSMNP but still feels somewhat secluded & mountainous.
