About Clare Rogers
I am around to deal with any problems that you might have and although we live in Hampshire for the majority of the times, Billing Street is very much a home too as my husband lives there during the week. We have four grown up children.
Clare Rogers purchased this House in 2017
Why Clare Rogers chose Kensington
Wonderful place to stay and so close to Kings Road and to all the museums in South Kensington. Very safe area too.

Beautiful stylish comfortable family home
We loved this house! Lovely stylish house set in a pretty little private street of pastel painted houses. The house had a comfy living room with big tv and good WiFi and there was a well equipped kitchen in the basement opening onto a lovely little patio with a small table and two chairs nice to sit out in in the warm evenings. Good shower and handy second downstairs loo. We stayed as a family of 5 with 3 grown up children and there was plenty of room. The house was very homely feeling with lovely pictures and prints, books and lamps. The street was private and very quiet, and at the end of the street there is a really lovely little pub the fox and pheasant with amazing food. By the end of our week we felt like we lived there and were very sorry to leave! Getting around - Fulham Broadway tube is an 8 minute walk and was handy for our day at the Wimbledon tennis which is only a few stops away, but it was also easy enough to get into central London. The area around the tube station also has several restaurants and a cinema. There is a Tesco express a couple of minutes walk from the house, and the many shops and restaurants on the Kings Road are a 15 minute walk. We also walked to South Kensington museums (about 20-25 mins). The house is close to Chelsea football ground which wasn’t a problem for us as it’s not football season but I guess it might be busier during football matches. The owner was easy to deal with and quickly answered any queries. Definitely recommended!
Nice townhouse in quiet neighborhood.
We were visiting London with our three 20 something children. I was looking for an apartment near Earls Court for ease to and from Heathrow. It was a bit far from tube station but not bad. Very cute safe neighborhood. Two of the three bedrooms are quite small but okay. We did have one hot day and night in London and no fan and some windows would not open. If UK is likely to see more hot days would recommend some fans!! Overall a good choice for the five of us and a decent value for pricey London!
Comfy place with very responsive owner
We enjoyed the flat. Nice kitchen downstairs, cozy living room and plenty of sleeping space for a family of four. We locked ourselves out during the stay and even though the owner, Clare, was on holiday, she went above and beyond to ensure that we got back into the flat that night. She was incredibly responsive during our stay!
Great location and lovely house, a far superior option to hotels
Clean, good quality fittings and furniture. Beds very comfortable. Heating good if required. Private, secure location and small private garden off the lovely kitchen. 7 mins walk from tube on level ground. Steps to kitchen may present a problem to people with mobility problems or young children. Owner extremely helpful and it was no problem for us to gain early entry. Would definitely go back.
Wonderful terraced house in a quiet location in South West London close to public transport
Great location and quiet - a rarity for London, although when there is a home game at Chelsea I should imagine the noise level increases dramatically given the proximity of Stamford Bridge Football Ground.
Owner very easy to deal with and always on the end of the phone.
House is as described, could probably benefit with a washing machine as the local laundry is a drop-off only.
We now have a washing machine in place!
Perfect, clean and nicely renovated apartment for a family in a quiet street in Fulham close to tube
This lovely apartment is located in a charming, small street only a five minutes’ walk from the Fulham Broadway tube station. If you come from Heathrow, you only have to change once, which makes the location very convenient. There are also a few buses stopping right in front of the street and it is very fast to get to the city. The area (Fulham/Chelsea/Kensington) is really nice and there are a lot of cosy restaurants and cafés close by. If you need groceries, there is a Sainsbury's supermarket at the tube station.
The apartment has both a king and a queen size bed in the two bedrooms upstairs and a single bed in the middle floor – all with super cosy pillows and duvets! We would not recommend the single bed for someone over 170 cm since it has a closet at the foot of the bed, but it is perfect for a child. The kitchen downstairs is well equipped and has a dishwasher, which was a big plus. :-) The apartment has been nicely renovated and the bathroom for example is very classy with a walk in shower and floor heating. It is also worth mentioning that the apartment warms up very fast when you turn up the heating – easily with a remote control.
There are two things to consider when renting. There are many stairs so if you have problems with your legs this might not be the best choice for you. For us (70-year-old grandma, two children aged 9 and 11 and their mother) the flat was absolutely perfect.
The other thing is the noise level. If you are a light sleeper, be aware of the tube that passes regularly over ground one street away from the house. On the other hand, you will find it very hard to find an otherwise quiet street like this in a big city like London. The house is also next to Chelsea’s stadium (Stamford Bridge), which will make the tube and streets very crowded on game days. We would have loved it but unfortunately, the team was not playing during our stay.
The owner Clare was easy to reach, super helpful and friendly, and answered all our questions fast. It was also easy to get access to the key for the apartment and everything worked very well.
We most warmly recommend this apartment and will definitely come back when visiting London next time. Thank you Clare for a wonderful stay!
Thank you so much Hanna for your lovely review and delighted that you had a good time. The single bed is infact 190cm long and although a cupboard at the bottom, is a standard bed and mattress but I appreciate it you are very tall it might be an issue. Also the tube is in fact the Overground which only runs a until 2300 hrs and then 2 trains an hour I think from 5am. Just don't want to put off potential guests!!
Please do come again as you were perfect guests and left the house beautifully tidy. Thank you. Best wishes, Clare
