Good location. Owners accommodate
Brought our 2 dogs fenced yard nice but a little smaller than expected but convenience over looked that. Nice greenway for walking jogging etc just down street. Only real complaint was oversized coffee table in living room made it feel really tight and smaller than was would recommend and probably stay again
Wonderful hosts, clean and tidy house, needs some charm.
My four-adult family was very comfortable in this modified 50's ranch. A bottle of wine, organic cleaning products and small welcoming touches were much appreciated. Fresh paint made the interior shine and we loved the giant country kitchen. The location was positively ideal. Instructions were clear, supplies were ample, and we found everything we needed including the large washer and dryer very clean and in excellent working order. The landscaping and front porch could have been better-maintained so that the approach was more inviting. The laundry area also appeared to be in-progress; there were no doors yet. A few more tools and cookie sheets in the kitchen might have helped as well. Otherwise, the owners were very accommodating and the house is a good bet for a visit to Charleston.
Great weekend stay!
My family and I stayed at the house for 2 nights with our small dog this past weekend, and it was great! The house had everything we needed for a quick getaway, and the Avondale area around the corner was a fun place to hang at night. We would definitely stay here again!
Charming Charleston Cottage
What a fabulous house for our Charleston vacation! First of all, Todd & Lisa (and Rachel, the manager) were the most gracious hosts ever, even including a bottle of wine for us. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. We felt right at home immediately. And this is the most friendly neighborhood we have ever stayed in. It was quiet, but near the main street taking us into downtown Charleston. It has a great fenced in yard and even a "greeway" a block away. Highly recommended!
nice little place in a great neighborhood
We really enjoyed staying there. It had pretty much everything we needed.
Great location at a great price!
We had a very enjoyable stay! This house was suitable for our needs. Our suggestions for improvements would be a better stocked kitchen (theres only 1 saucepan 1 stockpot & 1frying pan). If planning to cook, more pans would be needed.
Also, the front door does not tightly seal when closed, and the dining room window wouldnt shut all the way.
We did have a great stay! Todd and Lisa were very helpful as were arrived just after Hurricane Matthew. We arrived a day late and with no power, they left candles for us.
I would return to this property if i returned to Charleston.
