Aloha and welcome to your home for your Kauai adventure! The rush of the ocean welcomes you. The view captivates and soothes your soul. Every detail has been considered to make your vacation special.
Your bedroom is air-conditioned and features a California King bed with luxury sateen sheets that keep you comfortable as you rest. Plantation shutters keep the bedroom peaceful at night and allow a lovely breeze during the day. You'll find plenty of closet space to hang your clothes and store your extras along with an abundance of outlets to plug in all of your necessities on both sides of the bed. TV and BluRay player along with a nice sized dresser round out the bedroom essentials.
In the closet, in addition to plenty of extra pillow and bedding options, you'll find a pair of Tommy Bahama beach chairs, luxurious beach towels, a lightweight super insulated cooler and a parasheet (quite possibly one of the coolest things ever for the beach!) - all ready and waiting for your adventures.
Your washer/dryer is conveniently in the hall between your bedroom and bathroom and boy does it make it easy to travel light and not have to pay those extra baggage fees!
The bath has great counter and storage space and is stocked with towels. A shower caddy keeps things organized and out of the way. The shower has outstanding water pressure!
Your kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and present just about any meal in style. New, colorful dishes, new cookware, giant plastic tumblers (ideal for use by the pool), wine glasses, pitchers - you name it, you've got it! What you might find most useful in the kitchen are the array of items that make it so easy to travel - the little things - travel coffee cups and lids, Ziplocs for packing sandwiches and snacks, colorful reusable shopping bags to carry your extras (great for the grocery as you must either pay or bring your own bags), and also ideal for toting towels to the beach. Just bring your food and you're set!
Your living and dining area, in addition to the spectacular view, features a sleeper sofa, dining table and a 42' Flat Screen TV with BluRay player along with a variety of movies for your enjoyment. There’s also an iPod dock (designed for iPhone 4S, bring your adapter if you have a newer iPhone), and stereo and Bluetooth speaker so you can enjoy either the island music or your own. Your home also has complimentary wireless Internet to keep you connected when needed.
The best place to enjoy your meals is on the lanai so you can take in all of the sights over Wailua Bay. Depending on the season, you can see whales, spinner dolphins and sea turtles (make sure to grab the binoculars). Enjoy watching locals paddle boarding, fishing, kayaking and body boarding. The lanai is equipped with both bar and table seating for your enjoyment and relaxation.
Make sure to check out the guest book in the living room to read about others' experiences - they may reveal a secret or two about the island. We'd love for you to share yours as well!
The pool and BBQ area is just outside your door. Taking a dip in the pool is a great way to start or finish your day. Enjoy grilling your dinner – perhaps a fresh catch - on one of two gas grills.
Now that you've gotten to know your new island home, it's time to book your island adventure!
Mahalo.

It all began with a vision. A desire to share the magical island of Kauai with the world. And, founder, Lucy Kawaihalau, has dedicated her life to that goal through Kauai Vacation Rentals. "In a vacation rental home or condo, you really feel like you're living here," reflects Lucy, "so bringing together home owners and guests to achieve the 'best fit' is only a part of our distinguished reputation. Our responsibilities are twofold. For our owners, we provide the best management and maintenance services so they can rest easy, knowing their homes are meticulously cared for, since they may be thousands of miles away from their investment. For our guests, we believe they should be treated like royalty." And, it is the respect for the guest that gained Kauai Vacation Rentals recognition throughout the world. A friendly team dedicated to serving the needs of guests, with attention to all the details, makes it all possible. "A vacation to Kauai is so meaningful," adds Lucy. "For some, it may be the trip of a lifetime. For others, it may be a yearly event. This is a splendid place to relax. Our guests are 'energized' when they go home. That's what we mean when we say, 'magical Kauai.' " This genuine business model embodies the Hawaiian word, 'Aloha,' and it has gained much recognition within the industry and business venues, including numerous awards. Many glowing articles have been written, from Kauai Business & Real Estate Magazine, Hawaii Business, and internationally distributed Travel & Leisure Magazine to famed Fortune Magazine. In fact, Lucy Kawaihalau was personally honored with coveted awards from the Small Business Administration and Kauai Chamber of Commerce for her successful business achievements. Lucy concludes, "I am deeply grateful for our recognition and awards. Yet, it is the phone call, with heartfelt and glowing remarks about a visit to Kauai from a satisfied guest that brings us great joy. Therein lies our greatest achievement."
211 was everything we could have asked for! This was a perfect place to spend our honeymoon, From the fully stocked kitchen to all the needs for a day at the beach. We loved the ocean view and found ourselves spending our time when in the condo just enjoying watching the sea turtles and sting rays to simply enjoying the ocean sounds. We cant wait to book our next stay @ Wailua Bay 211.
We spent a week at this condo for our 25th anniversary. It was absolutely perfect. This was our first visit to Kauai, and we initially weren't sure about choosing Wailua vs. Poipu or somewhere on the North Shore - but the condo is so centrally located that it was an easy drive to everything on the island. Lots of shopping and restaurants and stores close by. The condo is beautifully maintained, very clean, and as others have mentioned in reviews - it has all the little things that make it wonderful - coolers and ice packs to use for jaunts around the island, beach towels and chairs, sandwich bags, etc. We spent the first week of our vacation on the Norwegian Island Cruise, so it was nice to get to the condo and use the washer/dryer to catch up on our laundry. It was still a little warmer than I would have expected for October, and we were very glad to have the A/C in the bedroom. The mornings were very nice on the lanai with the beautiful review, and if we were in the condo during the day, we used the fans in the living room and that kept it comfortable. The beach in front of the condo is very nice, there were seldom many people on the beach - lots of kite surfers which were fun to watch. The only disappointing part of the trip is that we didn't see any seals or sea turtles while we were on Kauai - although we did see some while we were on the other islands. If we make another trip to Kauai, we will definitely book this condo again.
Awesome vacation get away. Literally on the beach. Great views and central to everything you want to do on the island. Condo is fabulous with modern kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bed nice living room and great lanai to sit in barstools or lounge on the full size chaise. Kitchen is well equipped and they have everything you need for the beaches (towels umbrella cooler chairs etc ). Couldn't get better accommodation for the price. Will definitely come back to this condo. Great condo for a great vacation Mahalo
The condo #211 was amazing. The owners thought of all the needs of their guests. We cannot express our appreciation for the A/C in the bedroom because it was SO hot during out stay. We wish the entire condo had A/C, but we understand the expense. The condo above had a toilet leak and it came through the ceiling. We appreciate the property managers got a plumber out to fix the unit above right away?
This place was perfect for what we Were looking for on this vacation.
Driving up to the condo complex, it didn't look that nice but when we walked in we were amazed how nice it was!
The ocean view & the sound of the waves were what we were wanting! The pool was like bath water... so nice! It is next to a highway & busy streets but we didn't hear a lot of it bc of the ocean. If you want something central on the island- this is a great choice. Great food in walking distance and just up the street in Kapaa. Bc it being so central, it's not remote feeling (like the resorts we have stayed in the past) but is still VERY peaceful and comfortable!
The beach gear was used every day! Thank you for a great stay! We would definitely stay here again
The condo was as advertised. It was well appointed, supplied, and furnished. It has great views of the ocean. It was great to watch the waves and surfers from the lanai. The location in Wailua is good because it is centrally located- near both Kapaa & Lihue. The only drawback (one that's not the fault of the condo itself) was that, between the waves and the street noise from the highway, it got a little noisy at times. All in all though, if we were to stay in Wailua again, we would try to stay here.
Nice furnishings. Could have used an additional lamp. It was very dark in the evenings.
We found the two tables too tall. It was a challenge to get on and off the high stools. The toilet was too low! Adults/seniors who use it find it a challenge to stand up. No airconditioning was needed as the breeze was good.
Noisy! Besides constant traffic noise, the rooster crowing at 3:00 A.M. was not appreciated! We had to use a sound machine in the bedroom in order to sleep. The oceans sounds masked the traffic noise in the living room and lanai.
Wailua Bayview is centrally located between the North and South shores of Kauai making it ideal for getting the most out of your time here on the island. There are many activities in close proximity to your island home! Wake up and watch the locals surf and fish while you enjoy breakfast on the lanai. Spend the day paddling the Wailua River on your own or with a guided tour, hiking into the Secret Falls. Take a hike up the Sleeping Giant and enjoy amazing views of the island. For the more adventurous, take your body board or surfboard to Kealia Beach just past Kapa'a or just pack up a cooler and spectate. Ride a beach bike up and down the brand new bicycle path that runs right by your island home. Take the keiki (kids) to Lydgate Park and enjoy the protected swimming and snorkeling area made just for them! Enjoy a round of golf at Wailua Golf Course. Celebrate Hawaiian culture at the Smith Family Luau - one of the best on the island. Watch the sunrise at Kapa'a Beach Park. While everyone talks about the North and South shores, it's a pleasant surprise to discover all of the great spots right near your island home.
