We bought and restored this lovely heritage building with the idea of making it into a beautiful vacation rental for visitors to enjoy. With its central location and tidy layout it is a perfect little spot for travellers wanting more of a homelike atmosphere while visiting Penticton. With the fantastic farmer's market, beach and downtown all within walking distance it seemed like a perfect opportunity to let visitors enjoy all the great food and wine of the region in their own home away from home.

This pretty home is located on a nice quiet residential street in the centre of Penticton. It is close to everything but far from the noise. It is peaceful and private and ideal for a visitor looking for more amenities than a hotel room can offer.

Wonderful home away from home!
This was our third stay at Hansen House for at this property. It feels like a home away from home. Some of the highlights include the lovely gardens, front and back, the front porch, and the backyard patio. The home is central and walking distance to the lake, but at the same time the street and property is quiet and private. The house is always very clean, and the furnishings and décor are charming and functional. There is plenty of space for our family of five, including two adults and two teens. Thank you Daphne, for sharing your beautiful house with us.
This Heritage Home situated on a quiet street a couple of blocks from Okanogan lake was delightful. This very well equipped home was centrally located for the biking and exploring that we did. Thank you for this cozy home.

The house was beautiful, convenient and very comfortable. Great amenities and two great outside spaces to enjoy. Good parking also. It was perfect for a family of 4 adults and two toddlers. It made for a wonderful and easy visit. Thank you, Daphne for your hospitality.
Lovely home in central location
Lovely nicely decorated home in central location, walking distance to several restaurants. Attractive outdoor sitting areas front and back. Lots of great amenities - fruit basket, coffee, wine, toiletries, etc. Daphne was a helpful and responsive host. Our only concern as three friends traveling together related to the configuration of the bedrooms - 3rd bedroom entrance was off the 2nd bedroom, not the hall. This was not ideal as the person in the third bedroom had to walk through the the second bedroom to exit to the hallway. Otherwise a lovely home and a very nice stay.
Great location. House was very comfortable for 4 guys.
Besides a great kitchen, the BBQ and outdoor seating was very good. Yard was lush.
