Wonderful house on a lovely lot

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time staying at the house! I was initially a bit concerned that it's a bit far from "everything", but ultimately the reality of exploring the west side of Hawai'i island is that driving is inevitable, so my concern was totally unwarranted.

The house is clean, convenient to use. Eating on the porch overlooking the coffee trees is charming! We were hoping to see a good sunset, but alas it was always cloudy during our stay. I guess we'll have to come back.

The owner is very helpful! One of our cars didn't start, and she helped us find cables to jump start the car. Thank you!

Great house! Beautiful location and great getaway

  • 4 of 5

We loved the house. It was a great landing pad for us. Overall, we think it is a great 3 bedroom house and would not work well for a party of 8 like we had. We would give 5 stars if we had one less party on the trip but alas we did not so we ended up booking a hotel one night to balance out the awkward layout of the den/office downstairs. The twins are best for young kids (very limited support) and so making it a king did not work well for us. Loved picking lemons and fruit while there. Sue was great and would definitely stay again if we wanted Kona with less people in tow.

wunderschöne Lage und tolles Haus

  • 4 of 5
