Deceptively spacious & modern 4 bedroom house. Perfect holiday home for families
About Kate Eustace
I was born in Devon and have lived here all my life. My husband and I have three children and two grandchildren who all live close by. We bought Southlawn, which is a large victorian villa, in 2009 and it has been our family home and business for the last 8 years. We have carried out a great deal of renovation work to the property and in 2015 built two houses in the grounds, one of which we are now letting as a holiday home. In addition to the new 4 bedroom house we also have two other holiday lets in the same location, a 3 bedroom cottage and a very spacious 3 bedroom apartment. We consider ourselves very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the country and to earn our living in such an enjoyable way, meeting many lovely people over the years.

Why Kate Eustace chose Teignmouth
The location of the property is ideal being within walking distance of the town and beaches. Easy access to the larger places such as Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth. Also it is in a quiet location with a south facing garden, plenty of off road parking and lovely views.

Great family house in Teignmouth
The property was wonderful and perfect for our group of 7 people. It was large and clean and airy. The only downside is that there is no washer and dryer. Also, the town and beach are nearby, but be prepared for a steep walk uphill to return home.
This property suited our needs of 3 generations on along weekend in Teignmouth. My 87 year old dad was able to have a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. He found the spiral staircase down to the lower ground living room a bit steep but solved this by going around the outside and in through the back gate! The house was lovely and modern with sea views from the back bedrooms and a lovely terrace at the back perfect for alfresco dining. It was also very clean and quiet. If you are able bodied it is about a 15 minute walk down hill into the harbour and town. Kate was very helpful and we would recommend to anyone.
Lovely spacious house close to all amenities
Lovely property, with plenty of space. Large living areas and 4 bedrooms. A short walk to the town and beaches. All local amenities close by. Overall a great experience.
We stayed three nights in Teignmouth in this new semi detached house which is in a good position with views of the harbour from the bedrooms and within easy walking distance of town. The house was beautifully clean with everything we needed. We were welcomed by the owner and shown all we needed to know, in fact communications had been good even before we arrived and we were able to get into the house a little early and also leave our cars in the dedicated parking slots on the last day while we went down town to get some supplies to take home with us. Lovely big modern kitchen diner on the ground floor and also a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. The main living room was downstairs and was huge, 3 further bedrooms on the first floor, one with en-suite and another family bathroom. Many thanks Kate, looking forward to another visit in the future.
Lovely house, great location, lots of space
We were very comfortable, the house is very spacious and in a great spot, easy to walk into town. The kitchen had everything we needed. Only slight problem was we couldn't get the lounge TV to work properly, might have been operator error!
Very spacious property in a great location. Perfect.
Lovely relaxing stay with everything we needed.
The popular coastal town of Teignmouth is situated midway between Exeter and Torbay, known as the English Riviera and is the ideal location from which to explore this beautiful area of Devon. There is something of interest for all ages and abilities. All along this stretch of coast there are many lovely beaches and pretty coastal towns to visit some with cobbled streets and thatched cottages. A huge variety of places to shop, eat and drink and enjoy and genuine Devon Cream Tea !! Lovely coastal walks, long sandy beaches, safe and clean sea bathing and water sports. Moving inland there are some larger towns and cities, Exeter for example, is an excellent shopping centre and there are many places of interest to visit including the Cathedral, museum and underground passages. For families there are many themed days out such as Dartmoor Wildlife Park, Paignton Zoo, Creally Adventure Park, Babbacombe Model Village and many more. The perfect holiday location for a family of all ages to enjoy.
