Spinnaker is in the heart of Lahaina Town in a beautiful complex with a swimming pool, hot-tub, and gas BBQ area. Barbecue every night after a relaxing stroll down Front Street to enjoy another gorgeous Maui sunset or take a break under the Banyan tree located in town square. Lahaina has over 1000 years of rich history and has some of the best attractions, beaches, and restaurants Maui has to offer. During the day enjoy walking to the beach, snorkeling, or learning to surf or paddleboard at the Breakwall. Walk to the Lahaina Harbor which is the primary place to embark on whale-watching, dolphin trips, scuba diving, and most marine expeditions.

Enjoy our newly renovated, air-conditioned, two-bedroom boutique condo with a private lanai. The condo sleeps 4 comfortably with 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom. The bathroom has a gorgeous walk-in shower and all new fixtures. The kitchen is equipped with new slate appliances (and I love them), slide-in range with oven, microwave, dishwasher, granite countertops, and island with stools that I refinished myself. The cupboards are equipped with everything one might need to make a delicious gourmet meals. We have installed new flat screen TV’s, FREE WIRELESS WiFi through Oceanic Cable, and sound system. This fabulous 1st floor location means you have no stairs and renting a car is optional. If you do have a car rental, one free parking spot is provided with the rental and a coin operated laundry is on site. For the beachgoer, there are beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkel mask and boogie boards. We have tried to supply the condo with all the conveniences of home!

Foodland Grocery and Starbucks are just one block away. Three blocks to the outlets. Take advantage of some of the top rated fine dining restaurants in the Pacific…Gerard’s, Lahaina Grill, Pacific’O, and Fleetwoods. On the simpler side, Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice, LahainaLuna, Ma’la Ocean Tavern, Pizza Paradiso, and though you can’t walk, don’t miss Star Noodle. I would personally like to add my recent find...it is a small bistro which is a little out of the way but if you are near Kahalui or find yourself coming back from Hana or upcounty, please try La Provence on Lower Kula Road. In the morning it has delectable pastries, the food is reasonably priced and in the evening they have a 9 table restaurant for dinner with amazing views and I loved it!!! Please let me know if you try it!

About Julie Sandberg

We are certainly blessed to say that this is our second home in Maui. We purchased our first condo at Paki Maui in Honokowai (VRBO #498973) and it has been such a great experience we decided to try it one more time. We were married in Maui 15 years ago and feel like the islands are home to us. It is our goal to share time between Maui and the Mainland (Sacramento Area) until we can be there on a more full time basis. We have a son that has lived on Maui for 16 years and created an outrigger canoe business. The paddler guides are informative and it is truly one of the most cultural island experiences you can have.

Craig recently passed the Hawaiian Bar at 60 years old and I received my Hawaiian Real Estate License. It is our goal to work a little and play a lot. Maybe we can even talk our son into giving us job sitting under the umbrella selling canoe trips! We love the West Side Lahaaina/Honokowai/Kahana/Napili area so much and we have spent so much time there that we feel part of the community. Hidden Gem

When we arrived in Lahaina, we initially had a difficult time finding the place, but were so happy that it has a quiet spot off the beaten path, as it were. It is clear that the owners of this condo put a lot of thought, time, energy and $$ into renovating. It's beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. The pool area with the grills is immaculate and there are plenty of chaise loungers. We were thrilled to be able to walk to so many things - Front Street for shopping, restaurants; the grocery store; the park with a giant banyan tree; the boardwalk for excursions...the list goes on. It was also convenient to get on the highway to venture out to other areas of the island. We would definitely recommend this rental, and we are hoping it's available when we get to return to Maui!

Great location, great space for family of 4 with teenagers

This is a great condo in the cute town of Lahaina. Has everything you need to cook all of your meals (we cooked breakfasts, packed lunches for our day trips and ate dinner out, but I wish we had grilled dinner in more). Julie is probably the most responsive owner I've ever had the pleasure of renting from. Lots of good tips on where to go, etc. Beds are comfortable, the air conditioning is nice (even in January) if you're not used to the humidity. Pool area is great too. Lots of gear for the beach- chairs, towels, snorkel gear, cooler & toys. We miss it already!

Perfect home away from home

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. I was in Maui with my family for a wedding and there was a lot of down time in between wedding events and the condo was perfect for us. It has all of the comforts of home. The unit is cute and really clean. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bedrooms are a nice size and the beds are super comfortable!! We took Julie’s advice and stocked up at Costco and ended up cooking at home every night. The neighbors in the complex are super friendly, even sharing some of their fresh fish that they caught that day. The condo is a 2 minute walk to Front Street where there are a lot of shops and fun restaurants. I highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place and convenient location

We enjoyed our stay at your condo! The furnishings are very nice and the place is well appointed for travelers! We could easily walk to Lahaina town or get on the highway when we wanted to travel elsewhere. The air conditioners were a nice touch, as it did get a little warm and muggy a couple of nights. Thanks for our Hawaii trivet - it is a great reminder of our visit!

Perfect Vaca Spot!

This property is great!!! My three friends and I enjoyed everything about the place and area. It's in the perfect location by Front Street so good food, drinks, ocean views and shopping are a <5 minute walk away. The property had everything we needed...kitchen basics, 3 working AC's, bathroom basics and super comfy beds! There were some great extras like snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs & coolers too. Foodland is just down the street so getting groceries is easy as well. Another plus was not having to worry about parking, we had a rental car so having an assigned parking spot was very convenient! Julie was super easy to get ahold of if needed and the checkin/checkout instructions were hassle free! We enjoyed our stay very much, would highly recommend this property and will definitely be back!

Cleaning Fee $150
Refundable Damage Deposit $250

Room rates are plus the Hawaii General Excise tax of 4.167% & Transient Accommodation tax of 9.25% and the cleaning fee of $150. There is a minimum of 3 nights stay. Free Parking, free use of Pool, Spa, and Barbecue Grills, and Fee Public area Internet. a charge of $50 for lost keys. We are charged for keys so we must pass that on. Our housekeeping takes care of the condo linens and cleaning, but dishes should be run in the dishwasher and garbage should be removed from the condo. There will be a charge for missing or damaged items. Rules for the Spinnaker complex: You will find the quiet times noted around the complex. There is no smoking in the units (ever). Please respect others and report any problems to the office. As far as the condo, we hope that you will give our Ohana all the loving care it deserves so we can continue to share it with others.
