The house has a roomy entry way, a recently remodeled and spacious kitchen which has all utensils and cookware. The living room has three large picture windows which look directly down to the water in the bay and the mountains. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has a double. Bedding and towels are provided. There is a barbecue in the front yard and a fire pit beside the house for eating outside. The location of the house is one of the highest dwellings in Hoonah, making the view astounding. It is on the outskirts of town, making it a quiet place to relax and has a secluded feeling. Sitka black-deer can be seen around the house from time to time.

About Bryce Tyler
I was born and raised in Southeast Alaska, and have a deep appreciation for the great outdoors. I grew up fishing and hunting around Hoonah, and have climbed most of the mountains on the road system here. I love to travel as well and have lived in South Carolina (where I went to college), Michigan, Oregon, and the Dominican Republic, where I taught conversational English at a small school. I've also traveled to Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, England, and Mexico and enjoy learning about other cultures. I returned home to Alaska in 2009 and began developing the property here in 2011.
Bryce Tyler purchased this Mobile Home in 2012
Why Bryce Tyler chose Hoonah
I purchased this property in 1999 while still in college, developed it some and put a small cabin on it. I finished developing it a few years ago, and put a larger house on it. I have so many fond memories of growing up in this area and I feel blessed to have a chunk of land here. Hoonah has changed a lot since I was a kid, and it brings in more and more visitors every year to enjoy all the things that Southeast has to offer.
What makes this Mobile Home unique
I love being able to sit in the living room with a cup of coffee and watch the ferry come in or see humpback whales spouting or see a fishing fleet come back after an opener. My son loves it when we build a fire outside and roast hot dogs and marsh mellows. It feels like you are on top of the world and has an out-of-town feel to it even though you're within walking distance of the grocery store or our very own microbrewery. I know you will enjoy Hoonah, whether you plan on catching as many fish as possible or just relaxing and sightseeing.

Hoonah has much to offer in the way of outdoor activities. There are whale watching tours, charter fishing guides, stream fishing guides, bear watching tours, and Icy Strait Point offers a plethora of activities including a zip line over a mile long, ATV adventures, and native dancing. There are hundreds of miles of gravel logging roads to explore with a vehicle, and scenic spots include Freshwater Bay, False Bay, Burnt Point, and Whitestone Harbor. The sitka black-tail deer are plentiful on the island and taste amazing. There are lots of brown bears on the island as well, so it is recommended that you bring a gun with you or plan on having a guide when hiking or stream fishing. There is a great silver salmon run in Game Creek in September, but you can catch trout all summer long there. There is excellent halibut fishing nearby as well as lots of dungeness crab.
