About Eloise Ullman
I rented this house from friends, Frank & Larry, in March, 2015 and 2016, and fell instantly in love with Gulfport and the surrounding area. I then began dreaming of owning a Gulfport home, so when they decided to sell this house, it was too perfect to pass up!
Eloise Ullman purchased this House in 2016
Why Eloise Ullman chose Saint Petersburg
This house is located on a quiet, residential street but is minutes from all the activities that Gulfport and St. Petersburg have to offer. I love the relaxed, laid-back, eclectic atmosphere of Gulfport. This house is one of the few pool properties available for vacationers. The pool is very private and is heated for year-round comfort. The yard has a stockade fence with room outside the pool area for grilling and for dogs to run safely. Marina with kayak rentals and Clam Bayou Nature Preserve are 1/2 block away. Gulfport is a wonderful walking town.
What makes this House unique
This house has that comfortable, relaxing feel when you first walk through the door, perfect for 1 or 2 couples. The updated, kitchen is functional and beautiful and opens to the family room, which opens to the pool/spa. The pool is completely protected by a screened "bird cage." Great convenience to St. Petersburg, Tampa and other "big" cities, but located in a charming small town. All previous guests have loved the charm and fun of Gulfport.

Loved it !!
Great place, everything you need close to beaches, loved !!
Wonderful location, close to water....enjoyed our stay so much!!!
Gulfport Marina Home Perfectly Relaxing!
The home was better than pictured. It was just the right size and the pool was an added bonus. The downtown of Gulfport had some great restaurants and shops. The location was great, close to the beach and other restaurants and shops. The management team, Larry Stern and Jim Jones, we're so helpful. They made checking in and out easier than any hotel that I have ever stayed at. The whole process of working with Home Away was a pleasure. I would definitely rent this property again.
Very relaxing...all you need and more!
The property was perfect for what we needed! Pool was very nice and private. Very natural area around the pool...we enjoyed floating and watching the squirrels, geckos, and butterflies. Very nice to be met by property managers, I've rented 2 houses previously and never even seen a person. Very good communication from owner prior to trip and during trip. There was so much there that we didn't even know we would love to have...bikes, beach chairs, books, lotion, etc! We were running late and almost missed flight, and had to carry on instead of checking baggage and throw out some lotions...they had my husbands favorite brand there so we didn't have to buy more! Close to everything, Tropicana Field for baseball, shopping, Fort De Soto and St Pete Beaches, but not as busy as being directly in the beach. Highly recommended this location--and Stella's for brunch, Siri's for delivery and Smokin J's for BBQ! Thanks!
Myself and my wife had this property booked for two weeks at the first of June. The house is in a great location in Gulfport Florida . A short walk or bike ride will take you to O Maddy's bar and grill and a beach that you can use. On the weekends they have an open flee market down near the beach. The house is a short drive to Walmart, Publix and yes St. pete's beach.
The house is tastefully decorated in all the Floridian colours the kitchen is amazing to entertain company as it opens out into a family room.Right off the family room there are doors that bring you out to the pool deck . The house is well equipped with Beach towels umbrella chairs and even a cooler that you can take to the beach . There are several bicycles that you can use which was a bonus for us as we like to drive down around Gulfport most every day . We had to change our travel plans halfway through our stay and Eloise was very accommodating . Overall the property was amazing however the pool area does need a little TLC . Oh and I forgot to mention Jim and Larry who takes care of the property. They are great guys and are only a phone call away if you need anything. They will respond in a very short time frame .
Absolutely wonderful area . Close to a nature preserve and wonderful , colorful town
