Welcome to this newly renovated apartment in the Bywater! Located in the commercial hub of this neighborhood you'll have access to numerous restaurants, bars and enjoy easy access to Frenchman St., and the French Quarter!
There is a private entrance to the newly renovated apartment located above Cafe Henri. Upstairs you'll find a well appointed kitchen, beautiful and bright living space and plenty of room for cooking, dining or lounging. Enjoy the sites and sounds of the Bywater from our wrap around gallery.
There is one dedicated parking spot that is on the street.
Sleeping: There is one Master Bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, one additional full bath, and two guest bedrooms. Additionally there is one queen size air mattresses available for your use.
Sheets, blankets, hairdryer and hand soap included.
Eating: Full size kitchen, granite counter tops, and all new appliances (stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, etc.). All dinnerware, cooking dishes/utensils, and Kuerig coffee/teas selection are provided.
Check in is 3PM - Under most circumstances the apartment may available sooner, however, this is on a trip by trip basis.
Guests will have a private access to the apartment upstairs as well as one dedicated parking space.
Interaction with Guests
Upon arrival we can be there to greet you or you may explore on your very own.
There will be a guide book located on the coffee table upstairs with information on where to eat, drink and how to get around. As well as information for local activities and scooter/bike rentals.
And of course we will be available to answer any other questions you may have!
The Bywater is one of the most unique neighborhoods in New Orleans. Bordering the Mississippi River, it is an area with classic architecture and a bohemian feel. It's location allows you easy access to the French Quarter, The Marigny, Bayou St. John and City Park.
The Neighborhood also has a great variety of bars, restaurants and local boutiques. Some of the great restaurants, Oxalis, The Country Club, The Joint, Bacchanal (Our favorite wine bar!) and Pizza Delicious are all within walking distance of this location.
If you're not driving the best way to get to the apartment is by cab. While you're staying with us I recommend using Uber to get around. A number of guests have rented bicycles as well.

My girlfriends and I just stayed at this property for a long weekend. It was amazing! The location is perfect and it’s easy to get around. The neighborhood is quiet, fun and charming. The house has everything you need and the owner couldn’t be nicer. The gallery is so amazing to hang out on. I highly recommend this house to anyone! Thanks—we can’t wait to come back!

Three couples made the trek to NOLA for a long weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to relax. The location is perfect - lots of great cafes and local, non-touristy bars nearby. The quarter is within walking distance if that is more of your speed. The property was quiet and clean with two large bathrooms, three spacious bedrooms, and beautiful hardwood floors and high ceilings. We loved relaxing on the wrap-around balcony at night and the convenience of a ground-floor cafe in the mornings. The owner was very responsive and professional. Highly recommended!!
As advertised, and just what we needed!
Our stay in the Bywater was wonderful, thanks to this beautiful property. It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood with easy parking, walking distance to a fantastic bakery, and just above a lovely coffee shop that just opened a few weeks ago. We had 6 adults (3 couples) in our group, and the lay out of the living space, bedrooms, and bathrooms gave everyone plenty of space to spread out, enjoy quiet down time apart, or gather for a movie and family meals (for which the kitchen was well stocked!). Gregg was available and responsive to our needs during a frigid week in New Orleans, and we are looking forward to coming back for a visit in warmer weather! (I highly recommend coffee downstairs, Bywater Bakery, Bacchanal wine bar, and Parleaux Beer Lab, all just an easy walk)
Quiet, comfortable and very clean!
We really enjoyed this place. It was on a quiet street and close to the French quarter and everything else we wanted to see and do. The apartment was very clean and all of the renovations done to this place were done right! We'd defiantly stay here again. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your home.
A lot of space in a cool neighborhood
We had a great time in New Orleans, and staying here made the trip all the better. Great space, in a cool neighborhood, with a great restaurant downstairs. Would definitely consider staying here again.
I would only say that the check-out procedure should maybe change a bit because we had to stay later in order to put a second load of towels in the wash...per the instructions. I think the cleaners should probably handle this. This being said, this hiccup would not deter me from staying here again.
Get There Before the Secret's Out
Excellent, spacious apartment in the Bywater. This place is very close to several excellent restaurants (across the street from Oxalis, 4 blocks from Pizza Delicious) and walking distance from a few awesome local bars (Markey's, Bud Rips). The apartment is clean, well stocked with towels, dishes, etc; and, comfortable, tastefully decorated. We had 5 adults and 2 kids and never felt cramped in the 3 bedroom/2 full bathroom apartment. My stay went without a hitch, but in the days leading up to my stay, I found Gregg responsive and helpful to my questions. He even went so far as to provide a pack-n-play for my 1 year old son, which saved us the expense and trouble of flying one down with us. I highly recommend staying at this apartment, before the Bywater gets "discovered" by the New York Times travel section.

By making payment on this reservation, Payor / Guest is deemed to have accepted the conditions as set forth in this confirmation. Each property is decorated and equipped according to the tastes of the respective property owner. Guests agree to abide by the Rules & Regulations applicable to this property. PAYMENTS & ADVANCE DEPOSITS: 50% Is Due Immediately Upon Booking, Balance of PAYMENT IS REQUIRED 60 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL! Cancellations made outside of 60 days prior to your arrival will result in a $100 penalty fee. Cancellations made inside of 60 days prior to your arrival will result in forfeiture of all monies. CLEANING: Each Property will be inspected, sanitized and cleaned before and after your arrival and departure. The cleaning fee covers normal cleaning. Guest is REQUIRED to make sure check out instructions are followed. In general, run the dishwasher, do not leave dirty pots and pans, trash organized, and the home is generally picked up and ready to be vacuumed, dusted, laundered, and sanitized. If additional cleaning is required, appropriate charges, at a rate of $50.00 per hour. REMEMBER: NO SMOKING inside the property. CHECK IN TIME IS AT 3:00 p.m. CHECK OUT TIME IS AT NOON.
