The house is near the town (10 km), there you can find a supermarket, shops, and restaurants.
This is the ideal place to spend your vacations.
Here you can practice different water sports.
From Tahití, you can take a plane and in 45 minutes you will arrive in Bora Bora. You will need a car in Bora Bora to go to the shops, or to the restaurants because there is no public transportation service. Most of the clients rent a car during their stay. To rent a car in the island is very expensive (120€ per day); we offer you an exclusive service: our clients can rent a 5 seats Fiat Panda for 68€ per day, insurance is included. One of our staff members will give you the keys at your arrival at Bora Bora, and you will give them back the day of your departure. You can ask for this service at the moment you are booking your stay, ask the owner for more information.
The house is exactly as promised and the local hosts are delightful. We would happily stay here again.
I'd like to start by saying that the local person who looks after the property, Natalie, is wonderful. The house itself is very charming and lovely. However there some warnings necessary here. First, this is not a new house in any stretch of the imagination. It is about 40 years old. I have no idea why Mercedes represents it as new. it is run down and in need of paint and updating. Additionally, the photos in the description are not of the are the house is located. There is no beach in front of the house. the beach pictured is about 30 minutes by car from the house. Mercedes is extremely difficult to work with as she rarely checks her emails and leaves little information to go on. such as, where is the house located. If you go there in the dark you will never find it. The stairs a rickety and there is no indication of any emergency procedures in case something breaks. We actually liked the house but you should know that it is far more rustic than described. Additionally, there is no car that comes with the house. What Mercedes should represent is that she has a working deal with the local Avis office so that you can get a reduction in price. The car shown in the photos was wrecked some time ago and is no longer available. You definitely need a car with this house as there is little public transport in Bora Bora. If you want to go native this house is great. If you think it is an alternative to one of the resorts you will be disappointed. And warning, get everything in writing in advance from Mercedes as she is seriously misleading everyone. One more point. Theft by young men is the national sport in Bora Bora so be careful to lock everything up all of the time.
We spent the last week of May 2014 in the condominium house at Bora Bora. The house is fully equipped (kitchen, washing machine) and has two dorms and a big terrace. It is very close (10 mins. driving) to the main village with a ferry dock for the airport ferry. It has a beautiful view at motus and a blue lagoon. There is a little private condominium access for swimming in the lagoon. There is also a pier where you can be directly picked-up for various tours. The price is extremely reasonable when comparing other options and it includes also a car (which you need because the village is about 10 mins. driving or approx. 5 kms.). Finally, the owner, Mercedes is very friendly and helpful and was resolving every question fast. We were received by Nathalie (who takes care of the house) and her husband at the airport ferry dock. They came actually with a big truck so it was very easy to transport our plentiful luggage. Nathalie helped us then with all other questions we had. Mercedes and Nathalie, thank you for a great week at Bora Bora! Martina, Karolina and Petr
This was a magnificent choice as an alternative to the expensive and remote resorts. If you are someone who desires luxury and wants to be pampered this is not for you, but if you like to mingle with locals, get a flare for the lifestyle and really experience Bora Bora, then this is the house for you. Wake up every morning to the most beautiful breathtaking view. The car is a great asset. We were able to pay a day use fee to go to the Intercontinental Resort, and then they gave us credit equal to the fee, so we were able to go spend a day enjoying the resort, and then back to the house to eat and sleep. Bora Bora is very very expensive. My barometer for expensive vacations is pretty high, so when I say expensive, I mean the most expensive vacation I have ever had. Food at those resorts is horribly expensive. You can buy fresh fish from fishermen, and just about anything you need from the Supermarket in town. Nathalie, who will greet you will point out the supermarket you should shop at. Arriving on a Sunday makes it difficult to shop as all stores are closed so eat a meal in Papaeete before traveling to Bora Bora. Nathalie is wonderful and full of lots of great information.
One word of warning to Americans......Tahitians are the nicest people you will ever want to meet, but they sleep on beds made of stone.....not literally, but might as well be. If you have back issues, you may want to consider spending the money for the Four Seasons. The beds in private homes are very very uncomfortable. That is the only thing I could say that is negative. Go to Tahiti on a "budget" and stay in the most beautiful location ever.

Welcome to Bora Bora, your vacation paradise! The house is next to the sea, and a few steps from our small private beach, which has views to crystal waters from the lagoon and to the romantic evenings. Independent house in private area, this place is ideal for couples and their families. You can swim in the quiet crystal turquoise waters of the lagoon that is in front of the house, and see the full tropical colour . The house is surrounded by tropical exotic fruit trees that are set in a 3.670 metres garden. Bora Bora is the perfect place to spend a quiet and romantic vacation, our house is the best place to stay.
