Very enjoyable and relaxing stay.
I thought the property was outstanding, a beautiful setting and a spacious well appointed home with a woodsy vibe!
Overall nice place, clean and organized.
Needs improvement on front door bolt and kitchen stove burners. Sleeping arrangements for 2 families (8 people total) little challenging since there were only two private rooms and loft is completely open. Sofa bed in front sun room very squeaky and noisy.
Great house and a great setting!
We had a lovely time with our family there, and Judy and Mike were very helpful. Would love to return!!!!
Nice cabin, only 2 private bedrooms. ok for family stay, nice 3 bathrooms, great kitchen and livingroom. Parking is limited, not easy to turn around with boat trailer. Nice area for boat, narrows out of the wind, poor fishing lake except for smallish sunfish, a few decent crappies, hammerhandle pike. Close to Longville great for turtle races and such. Good washer and dryer for clothes. Nice lake access and safe beach but small!
Beautiful place, great owner!!
Perfect property on a beautiful lake! Jean was very easy to work with. Had a great time!
Beautiful lake home
We stayed at this property the first week of August 2016. The home was beautiful and a perfect place for our family vacation. We had 5 adults and 5 kids. Their was more than enough beds for sleeping for our group. It had a beautiful kitchen, 2 nice bathrooms, Washer / dryer. And the Property was about 1/2 down Long lake. The lake is beautiful good for fishing, and water sports. very clean. A short distance from the Cabin is a big sand bar, great place to drive your boat up to and swim, safe for the little ones. Also had a Kayak that our family used. Cabin had plenty of towels and Owners came whenever we called. This was one of the best family vacations we ever had, and a beautiful home to spend our week. We rented a pontoon from Muskie Marine a short distance from the Home, they also were very nice to work with and brought the pontoon right to the lake for us.
Amidst the blue and green tapestry of lakes and forests, this 926-acre lake is nearly 8 miles long and has 13 miles of shoreline. Much of the 13 plus miles of shoreline on Long Lake are clean sand beaches and borders the breathtaking Chippewa National Forest. With water clarity over 20 feet, Long Lake is one of the clearest lakes in the state of Minnesota. Although many come for the recreation, fishing is great with a variety of species, including: Northern Pike, Walleye, Large Mouth Bass, Crappie and Bluegills. The beautiful location blesses us with nature, which also may include wildlife known to inhabit the area: deer, bald eagles, ducks, geese, snakes (non-venomous), owls, wolves, and black bears. Although there are no known nests on the property, please be aware you are sharing your vacation with a National Forest and its inhabitants!
