About Elizabeth Heydary
This home has been in my husband's family for over 70 years. It was built in 1938. My mother-in-law and her three siblings lived in it during early childhood. My mother-in-law, Cindy, the property assistant, moved back into the brick house with her husband Nader when they were first starting their family before moving to their current home. My brother-in-law and his wife lived in the house for the past two and a half years after they had just been married. Now that they have moved out, we have opened it to rentals for families in the Greensboro-High Point area. Our family works hard to keep the house updated and in clean condition for your stay and enjoyment. We will be flexible with arrival and departure times and try to work with your schedule. Please do not hesitate to email or call us so we can discuss your plans while in Greensboro.

The house is very cute and has lots of room. Loved the room with the twins beds off the kitchen(we didn't use)it was really cute and would be perfect for a family with kids. The bed and pillows in master were so so comfortable loved them! I did however miss the fact that there isnt a TV in the master so keep that in mind if you have to have a TV in your room. Thanks to Elizabeth for offering a pet friendly place to stay it was perfect for our 2 small dogs. Lots of room. With that being said there were some things that I was displeased with. 2 can openers in kitchen neither work had to go buy one. The fridge was empty but was dirty.....streaks all over outside and in, the handles and sides of doors had spots of like ketchup, bbq , sauce, food splatted on it. The worst part however was the drawer to the right of the sink had pot holders in it and they were covered in MOLD!! I about threw up!!! The bed lines in master didnt appear to have been washed. When we folded the sheets back there was a huge glob of matted dark black/brown hair on them....grossed me out. As a safety precaution I always check the windows anyplace I stay to make sure they are locked. Found mold in some of the windows as well. This is a cute house and we were thankful Elizabeth was able to help us with our last minute reservation. Its just a bit run down and needs some cleaning up.
Comfy, quiet cottage
This is the second time we’ve stayed here while showing at the High Point Show and love this homey cottage, especially the comfortable beds, sofas and large screen television. The kitchen is well appointed with evething needed for a longer stay and Elizabeth is a gracious host, quick to respond to any questions. The neighborhood is quiet but convenient to highways, shopping and restaurants. We look forward to staying here again!
Thank you for your kind review! We have loved providing you a place to stay during Furniture Market, and we are looking forward to having you stay for the spring show as well!
Perfect for a private stay, convenient location
I've stayed here multiple times, and I love the privacy and convenience to several great locations in Greensboro. Close to the Greensboro Coliseum, an easy drive to the airport, and lots of great restaurants in the area. Nemat and Elizabeth always go above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need!
We are always happy to provide a convenient place to stay for your travels and we would love to have you back for any future stays!
Potentially unsafe for small children
The house does not comfortably fit 6. We visited with our four young kids and were concerned. The bathroom pedestal sink is not firmly mounted and could easily fall. The kitchen table actually fell apart during breakfast and fell onto my 6 year old and spilled all the food to the floor. The gas range is directly under the cabinetry less than 18 inches and most likely a fire hazard. There is tape holding cords in place and keeping the attic door sealed. While I appreciate that the manager refunded our stay I would be concerned for other families.
The house is fairly reflected in the pictures, and the square footage is listed. Many groups of six have stayed comfortably in the past. The house is not fully babyproofed, but infants and very young children have stayed numerous times without issue. We regret that the table fell. There have never been any problems with it before and no other renters reported any damage to it, so it was a surprising accident. Another table is available and is being brought into the house. The nature of the pedestal sink makes it less attached than the square sink vanity, but it is firmly attached to the wall. The cabinets and entire kitchen were updated in 2013 and has been inspected to insure there are no fire hazards. All feedback will be used to improve the stay of future renters.
Comfortable, cozy, yet enough room
Everything was clean Cozy! Elizabeth made our stay so easy. She accommodated us when we needed extras and everything went well logistically. We used both the front stoop and the back patio. The living room was a great way to come together and still have room.
Soccer Cottage that has just what we needed
We were there for The Regional Soccer Championship and decided a house would be the best way to go. It worked out perfect for our needs. We could cook for the boys and do laundry. On our off day there is a movie theater near by that we took advantage of. Also there are grocery stores near by and restaurants as well. We loved the Artistic Cottage and the owners were so accommodating. .
The property’s location is convenient to numerous Greensboro attractions, including Four Seasons Town Center, Friendly Center, Emerald Pointe Water Park, Greensboro Coliseum/White Oak Amphitheater, Grandover Resort, and High Point Furniture Market. The home is also conveniently located within 4 miles of downtown Greensboro and 10 miles of Piedmont Triad Airport. Twin Lakes Park playground is about 6 minutes walking distance by crossing an access bridge off Cypress Park Road. For any college visitors, UNC-Greensboro, Guilford College, Greensboro College, and North Carolina A&T are all within 4 to 9 miles of the home, and UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University are both less than an hour's drive away.
