The location of the house gave us the opportunity to witness beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The beautiful home was spacious, the kitchen was well-equipped and the dock and decks were wonderful for relaxing. We kayaked in the bay, rode our bikes in the neighborhood, and visited the nearby beaches and attractions. It was a wonderful vacation.
The property was amazing. Perfect for our family of 4.
The property was amazing and perfect for our family of 4. The views were breath taking! The house had all of the amentities that we needed. The 3 tiered deck was perfect for us to launch kayaks and SUP. It was perfectly located to a variety of activities.
Susan was very helpful and responsive to any questions leading up to the stay.
I highly recommend this property!
Great place and location
We found this place to be an excellent location. The house offered great views of the water on both sides of the structure. This was a very quiet and peaceful house. Everything was in good working order at the house and it was as described in the online description. The home owner was super attentive and offered some nice personalized touches for us as guests. I would recommend staying here again.
House was clean, roomy, airy, fully equipped and comfortable. It was what we were hoping for & more.
We’ve never rented a VRBO before, this was our first time. Normally we spoil ourselves with B&B’s. We stayed here for only 3 nights before heading off to our B&B in Ocracoke for 6 nights. We can honestly say, hands down, we preferred the VRBO. B&B’s may become a thing of the past for us and VRBO’s our future.
The master bedroom’s bed was crazy comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The bottle of wine was more than welcoming. The hot tub was a godsend. We were in it at least once every day. The use of the washer and dryer was something that we’re not used to. We washed up several loads of our laundry before heading out on the second leg of our vacation. That was definitely a plus.
All in all, my husband and I have both agreed that VRBO’s are the way to go.
Beautiful home,view,and weather.
My husband and I had the most wonderful time being tourists on Hatteras where I lived for over 30 years. The house cannot be better situated as though it is protected by live oaks, you can see both sunrise and sunset over the water. The home itself is beautifully appointed and the kitchen had everything(and even a bit more) that one could want.
We lucked out on the weather as it was stellar day after day with light east winds that made the water Carribean like. I have many friends here as well as kin(my family owns the Mad Crabber) and it was pure pleasure for us to have our own place and share it with them rather than imposing on them for a change.
Beautiful Home and Setting!
Beautiful week staying in Windy Waters celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary! We loved the house from the moment we stepped in the door! One of our highlights was waking up to gorgeous sunrises...very unexpected while staying on the sound! All the many house details that help make a vacation comfortable were abundant! Looking forward to our next visit to Windy Waters
