About Anita Sands
Previously a marketing director, but wanted to be at home with my children but run a business. I lovingly converted our barn to these 2 cottages. I have just refurbished Copse View.
Anita Sands purchased this Cottage in 2007

Girlie weekend away for my friends 50th birthday!
We were booked in here to celebrate my friends 50th and as we were at Westlife on the Friday night, we thought this a lovely location to stay. We were half an hour away from Meadowhell and surrounded by beautiful scenery and some lovely walks (not that we walked... we were too busy in the hot tub or shopping!!)
The cottage is perfectly equipped with all the basic amenities needed. We loved the hot tub. One thing I will say is the location of the property is listed as Copse View, Hollow Meadows, and we was looking for this for over an hour. Unbeknown to us, we was driving past it. It’s also know as Swinglee Grange, and this is the name place on the plaque on the wall outside, so don’t do what we did and look for Copse View. That’s the name of the cottage we were in.
Communication between Anita and myself was brilliant. Very accommodating as I kept pestering her with questions 😄
The cottage was clean and the bedding and towels provided were lovely.
I couldn’t really fault the place.
Myself and the girls had an awesome time. I’d love to visit again, but next time see some of the scenery around this gorgeous cottage!!
Lovely spacious cottage . Tucked out the way in gorgeous surroundings. Comfy sofas and a nice big table in the kitchen. We loved the farm animals and the dogs. I only gave it four stars as we could only use the hot tub once as there seemed to be a problem with the electrics. The beds were comfortable but the pull out mattresses not so much, think they’re ok for children but not adults. The only thing missing in my opinion was some mirrors in the bedrooms. Nice welcome items on arrival - milk etc.
Thank you .
the cottage was even better than the photos, really light, comfy and lots of space and amenities. we loved the rural feel whilst being a short drive to lots of walks and places to eat.
Good place to stay for nearby activities
It was a nice place to stay for attending a wedding in hathersage. Nice surroundings
lovely home in scenic surroundings
can't fault the place: fantastic location, relaxing hot tub and friendly animals galore!
Perfect for family retreat!
We had a great stay for 3 nights at the cottage. It was perfectly placed so we could put on our walking boots and climb up the hills near by. Also the Wyming Nature Reserve on the opposite side of the main road was a great find, with a river to walk across and a great cycle ride to be had. When we arrived there was fresh orange and apple juice, a bottle of wine, a box of shortbread and some chocolate - what an amazing welcome! The actual cottage was gorgeous with an open-plan downstairs and 3 good sized rooms upstairs. We also loved the little dog that kept coming to say hallo! Finally, the hot tub made it all that bit more special for us - a real treat! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Thank you for a lovely review. We are so pleased you had such a lovely stay.
