The only reason I cannot give five stars is due to the lack of parking and cleanliness of the cabin. The previous renters must have enjoyed popcorn, for remnants of it was left in the couch and on the floor of the downstairs bedroom. Other than that, the cabin was a great fit for our family!

Could be cleaner and better maintained
I'll start with the positives: AMAZING VIEW and close and convenient to The Parkway.
Now, the negatives: The property, (Cabin and surrounding community) is not maintained for the price they charge. The road leading in the community is full of potholes, a dirty pond, outbuildings and equipment. The cabin itself wasn't very clean. There was trash on the floor in the lower level. Cobwebs everywhere. The porches look like they haven't been swept off and there were cobwebs everywhere out there as well. There was a broken chair in the corner of one of the decks. There was an extension cord running into one of the windows downstairs.
I realize that bugs are common in the mountains, however, killing roaches on the living room table on more than one occasion was unacceptable.
The tv's are in desperate need of an upgrade. Again, for the price we had to pay, having tv's that are old vcr/DVD combos seem a bit outdated.
The kitchen table was sticky and hadn't been wiped off and the windows in the cabin were VERY dirty.
The couch is so worn that you sink down to the supports.
We are very dissapointed in our stay. We never leave reviews like this and can overlook a lot because things happen. However, with this many negatives, something needed to be said in hopes that something will be done so that others can enjoy the lovely views and have a clean comfortable cabin to stay in.
