We had a great stay, enjoyed the seclusion and beauty of the ranch. Would recommend to others looking for an opportunity to get away from it all.
Thanks. Janet said to put you on the “ please come back list” as you were so respectful All the best!
This is a beautiful property in the perfect location! Carmen was wonderful and a pleasure to meet. She contacted us to make sure we understood how secluded it was before we made the trip, which is exactly what we wanted! House was fully stocked and had perfect instruction on how to check in and out. We used the hot tub every night and spent our days driving on trails nearby. Will definitely be staying at the ranch again in the future!
It was a pleasure to have guests who both respected the property and enjoyed it for what it is and what it isn’t!
Amazing and peaceful
Wonderfully secluded property. Great place to relax and unwind. Well stocked with supplies, definitely will consider in the future!
Peaceful, quiet and private. Beautiful natural setting for the ranch wildlife creek pond pasture...
Not much for words, but I know I had a smile on the whole time we were at the Ranch!
It is quiet and picturesque and rugged. Moose, deer, starry nights. Warm crackling fires
What a special spot! He saw otters in the pond, moose and elk and deer on the canyon trails. Sat by crackling warm fires Everything rugged Colorado is meant to be!
Arriving at the ranch is a treat as the location is just what’s needed to loosen up and let the natural setting do its work. It’s a perfect place to get away, surrounded by the free range and forestry. The canyon makes it a retreat from most tourist spots, but the ranch is still close enough to Grand Lake and Steamboat for supplies or a change. The small lake and stream add that little extra something.
As a writer, I find it inspirational to spend a few days or longer in a setting like this, taking the occasional break for a bit of exploring of the canyon and the rock faces. Then it’s time for a cold beer in the hot tub, and that is the perfectly toasty way to greet the cool evening. It’s a big sky, day or night.
The quiet is comforting and the sound of a distant train makes it like nowhere else. I’ll even do some cooking in the country-style kitchen, but more likely use the outdoor grill when my fellow guests are lazy, spreading themselves out in all the space.
When can I come back?
