Nice property, had everything we needed and was in a good location. Shame the bedrooms are on the road side of the house, but otherwise all good. Bothwell's good, recommend the riva and camphill vaults, avoid the takeaway at the end of the main street, food fine, delivery service shocking.

Unfortunately I can’t change the bedrooms on the road side but I have just had new double glazed windows with acoustic glass fitted, made to order from Saint-Gobain Glass. It has made quite a difference to the road noise. I hope to see you again in the future. Kind regards Karen

Great little flat ideal for four
The flat had parking and everything we could need inside. Everything was well maintained and worked and we had everything we needed. Great places to eat nearby and there are both local shops within walking distance and larger shops in nearby Hamilton.
Don't use the combined Indian, Pizza, Kebab and Ice Cream Parlour take away at the end of the High St!!

Clean, Comfortable and Cosy
Despite the cold weather, high winds and rain we found our stay in Bothwell a real delight. The flat had everything we could ask for from comfortable bed to excellent shower and all the extras one hopes for but rarely finds. Bothwell village is a delight: friendly shops, excellent eating in a variety of restaurants and with very easy access to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Bothwell 37A is contained within 1/4 of an idyllic house, one of the oldest residential properties in the village of Bothwell. With it's easy access to the M74 / M73 & M8 motorways it's an ideal base location for an exploration holiday in Scotland. The village has a number of category 'A' listed buildings including Bothwell Castle, Bothwell Bridge and Bothwell Parish Church. The location is 15 minutes drive from the Glasgow city centre and within easy reach of Stirling and Edinburgh. Strathclyde Country Park, nearby, is one of Scotland's most popular visitor attractions with loads to do including sailing, kayaking, rowing, country walks, play area, café, fitness gym, open play areas, bike hire and fun boats.

Golf: Bothwell Castle Golf Club is considered by many to be one of the premier parkland golf clubs around Glasgow and in central Scotland. Bothwell Castle Golf Club is a flat parkland course with mature trees framing many of its fairways and excellent greens. Located in the woodland area surrounding the 13th century Bothwell Castle, it is 10 miles from Glasgow City Centre and easily accessible from all directions being 1 mile from the M74 and 2 miles from the M8. Bothwell Castle Golf Club is a popular course with members and also visitors, many of whom return year after year. The course is well maintained and is challenging for players at all levels. The clubhouse with its excellent modern facilities is comfortable, welcoming and the staff provide an excellent service. It is a perfect venue for corporate and smaller group outings.
