The home has 4 bedrooms ( 2 king, 2 queen), also in the home are 2 queen size air mattresses. 2 bedrooms are upstairs and 2 bedrooms are downstairs. There are 3 FULL baths and 2 large living areas with couches/tv/sterio (one living area has open floor plan to full kitchen/dining upstairs, other living area has bar/mini fridge/sink with pool table downstairs). Lots of space with 2550 sq ft. Excellent lake view seeing Crane's Mill Marina on the covered front balcony and walking distance to County Boat ramp #8. Walk is a little over half a mile with hills. Neighborhood has a small park. Home has a large landscaped backyard with carpet grass, Rainbow Play System, deck, and several picnic tables. There is also a back lot and a half that provides fenced in parking great for boats, firepit/bbq grill, swing, and good space for outside entertainment. Large oak trees throughout property, carport in the front of the house. A canyon lake retreat indeed.

Beautiful views and location!
Perfect house for a large group! Well thought out vacation home. Clean and description on point. Owners very responsive to questions and easy to work with. House was big enough that our 10 people group had plenty of space, not crowded at all. Deer everywhere and the walk to the lake area was beautiful. Enjoyed the patio and the balcony views. Would recommend to anyone and we look forward to coming back!

Karter's Canyon Lake was an awesome place to stay. We had a large group gathering and there was plenty of space for everyone. This wonderful house had everything one would need for a home away from home. The back yard was huge and beautiful and the patio seating was awesome. The upstairs balcony was break taking and a wonderful place for morning coffee and conversation. The house was just minutes away from the lake, floating and and a grocery store. Thank you to the owners for letting us check in early and check out late, they were very accommodating and helpful. Will differently book this location again in the future.
Spacious, gorgeous, and clean
Our group enjoyed this place very much. It's a beautiful home with plenty of outdoor hangout spots. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Great views of the lake!
Perfect for two families!
This spacious home was perfect for two families with 4 active children ages 9-15. When we were in the house, the grown-ups relaxed upstairs and the kids played pool and games downstairs. We ate dinner on the porch picnic table and also took in the fantastic sunsets and views of the lake. The kitchen was well equipped as we prepared meals. We rented a boat at the marina that you can see from the porch and had a great time. We also tubed the horseshoe of the Guadalupe, which is about a 15-minute drive from the house. All in all, a great lake house getaway!
A great time at Karter's Casa
We celebrated my parent's 50th wedding anniversary at Tracey's house and had a great time. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room. The house was very nice. The kids had a lot of fun shooting pool and playing foosball. It seemed like they had everything we needed. Tracey provides great documentation on everything you need to know about the house. That made it easy for me to communicate to everyone what to expect. Tracey was very responsive to my questions leading up to the stay and I appreciated her following up to see how things were going during the stay.
This house is close by the marina and we were able to easily take a short drive and rent jet skis to take the kids out on the lake early in the morning. Try Granny D's for breakfast. Their whole plate pancakes are awesome.

Awesome will stay again
Plenty of room for everyone in our party and very kid friendly. They had baby gates for the stairs and a closet with puzzles, movies, table and chairs for the kids, playground and sand box in the back yard. Back yard has lots of space for blow up pools and outdoor games etc. The kids were in awe to see all the deer in the area.
Enjoy tubing in Sattler at the Horseshoe float about 10 minutes away. Great library in Sattler. Groceries close by as well as local restaurants. The neighborhood provides a great walk and biking area - bring your own fun. The lake offers so much with boat rentals nearby as well as campsites/parks, hiking, bicycling trails, wineries and horseback riding trails close by. Central location to San Antonio, Austin, and New Braunfels for endless fun.
