Fully remodeled in 2016, our 100 year old Edwardian flat will make a great launching point for your San Francisco experience.
Located at the end of a quiet dead end street, our city's urban treasure -The Presidio - is just over the wall. Explore the many hiking trails that lead to the Golden Gate Bridge, Baker Beach, Mountain Lake Park, Disney Museum, Lucas Film center, and much more. Head out in the opposite direction and you are just two short blocks to Clement St (a.k.a. "little Chinatown") with its host of great cafes, wine bars, and some amazing Asian cuisine.
Five more blocks further is Golden Gate Park which includes the renowned DeYoung Art Museum, Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Gardens, and the classically constructed Conservatory of Flowers. Closed to street traffic on Sundays, you can bike, stroll, skate, and dance to your hearts content.
Want to venture farther? The #1 California Muni Bus line is two blocks away, and the 38 Geary is another two blocks. From either line it is minutes to downtown San Francisco, Union Square, Chinatown, and AT&T Park (home of the SF Giants Baseball team).
When you're not exploring, you'll find our flat to be extremely quiet with all the comforts of home. The master bedroom is located at the back of the flat. There is a California King bed with brand new Sealy Posturepedic mattress and luxurious sheets. Relax in your own private bathroom. Step on through the sunroom and out to the private back yard with a wrought iron dining set that seats 4 and a Weber Gas BBQ. The kitchen, dining room, and sunny front living room are located on the same floor, along with a cozy bunk bed room perfect for children. Head downstairs to the huge bonus room. A leather sectional couch comfortablly seats six to watch shows or movies on the 48" plasma TV. There's an XBox with a plethora of games for the young at heart. In a separate section of the bonus room is brand new California king bed. Opposite is a Queen Loft bed which is accessible by a short ladder. Surrounded by luxurious velvet curtains it's a perfect place to sleep in or snuggle up with a book. There is also a private bathroom with walk in shower and ultra modern fixtures on the same floor. The lower patio and backyard are accessible via the double french doors.
The living room is equipped with a 55" TV, Cable, and a large sectional couch. The dining room with its Thomas Moser table seats eight comfortably. There's no such thing as too many chefs in the kitchen with the honed granite countertops, and chef grade gas stove. A small butcher block table provides a nice spot for two to enjoy breakfast. The kitchen is well stocked and will provide everything you need to cook and feel at home. Wifi is available throughout the flat.

Three generations of our family have lived in this flat. Purchased by my mother in 1977, I spent my high school years in the City by the Bay. I returned with my wife to San Francisco in 1997 and we have raised our twins here. We hope our guests enjoy the comforts of our home during their visit to San Francisco.
Owner/Manager purchased this Condo in 1977
Why Owner/Manager chose Richmond District
Perfectly situated between the hustle and bustle of Clement Street yet steps away from the Presidio, the location satisfies both the urban and outdoor enthusiast. Over 25 miles of hiking trails can be found just over the wall in the Presidio. Yet, two blocks in the opposite direction and its pure urban hubbub - restaurants, cafes, public transit, and easy access to the iconic Golden Gate Park. My mom loved the DeYoung museum and was a docent for many years. She traveled the world (as have we) and the house is tastefully decorated with interesting art from off-the-beaten-path places.
What makes this Condo unique
Staying in our flat will give you a real what-it's-like-to-live-in-SF experience. Located at the end of a dead-end street means it's safe and quiet. Head out in any direction and you can quickly be in Sausalito, Muir Woods, Ocean Beach, the SF Zoo, Downtown, or in the vibrant Mission. This is one of the most desired locations in SF, especially for families.

Great San Francisco Trip
Beautiful home in great location. Owner and manager could not have been more helpful. I highly recommend this property!
Beautiful and Comfortable!
Home, neighborhood and location are perfect. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, if you rent a car, FYI. Had a great trip!
We loved our Stay
We so enjoyed our stay at Sue and Bill's home. Their home is beautiful and truly accommodated our group of 6 women. We couldn't have asked for more. Did I mention we loved the location as well! From the start of the application process to the end of our stay everything was seamless. Sue had many recommendations for us, which we appreciated. Last but not least 3 cheers for Mia, the property manager, who lives above. She couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful! So glad we stayed here.
Lovely stay, frustrating reservation process
The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Out of thawed, but close to transportation.
Not related to this property, but the reservation process left a lot to desired. They take your credit card charge before they accept reservation. They only give you the actual location 2-5 days ahead of your stay even though you might already be travelling by then.
Lovely large comfortable house
A clean, comfortable and lovely large home. It is within easy walking distance to bus stops and choice of dining. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood with parking if you hire a car. Pictures are a true reflection of what you get.
Beautiful Home, Outstanding Location
Our first impression of this property was amazing. We were impressed with the space available to us. The attention to detail in this renovation was remarkable. We had more space than we needed but enjoyed being able to spread out and utilize the extra room. This home had all of the amenities we needed for our stay and more! The central location allowed us to visit all of the great San Francisco attractions easily. Walking distance to shops, dining and entertainment were a huge plus. Great quiet neighborhood. We parked our rental car easily most evenings which was a big plus. Would love to visit again!
