Perfect for Hangout!
We loved our stay at Island Royale! 6 of us came down for the Hangout Music Festival. The condo was the perfect size for all of us. The 3 full bathrooms was especially nice so no one ever had to fight over a bathroom to use. We loved how big the balcony was and how there was enough seating for all of us to enjoy it. The location was perfect for walking to the festival. Terry was super helpful with any questions I had about checking in and the door lock. We'll definitely try to stay here again next year!
Gulf Shores Island Royale
Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Condo is a corner unit with a big balcony, 2 lounge chairs, and table with 4 chairs. Price was very reasonable and the owner was extremely easy and helpful to work with. Covered parking and easy access from garage to the room and also the beach. Recommend this condo.
Loved the balcony and the fact that we were at the end of the hallway. Also, liked being on the 4th floor which seems like you are really on the 2nd floor. Owner was very helpful and answered any questions that I had immediately.
Even during a hurricane.....
This was our first beach trip in 4 years, so, of course, there was a hurricane (Nate) while we were there. Luckily for everyone, it did minor damage to the area and moved through very quickly. The owner was diligent about contacting me and keeping me updated on the status of the storm, what to expect, ect. That was very meaningful to our family, who had never experienced a hurricane first-hand. Said all that to say that working with the owner was wonderful before and during our stay. He even contacted us after the storm to make sure all was well.
The condo is beautiful with "real" furniture and a well stocked kitchen. The view speaks for itself and the third bathroom was a huge difference maker for our tribe. Will definitely stay here again !

The condo was perfect. Plenty of room and spacious balcony for breakfast outside! My only complaint would be the security that is hired separately. We are relatively young family with 20 year old siblings, in-laws, and a 5 month old baby. We were approached on several occasions by rude security staff that questioned our stay there throughout our entire trip. They should probably hire some security staff that knows how to handle every type of person and stop profiling based on age. Overall the vacation was wonderful due to the condo being located very close to the attractions and on the beach. We had a fantastic view as well. Also, the lock was fantastic because none of us had to worry about carrying a key!
I will address this issue immediately. Our condo board and security company will be notified and actions taken to ensure that any type of profiling will not be tolerated. Very glad you enjoyed yourselves at Island Royale 406. You are always welcome and hope to have you as our guest again in the future.
The place was very nice. The unit was nit very clean though. We left it cleaner than we found it. G
We really did enjoy our stay at Island Royale. It is in a nice area and the building seems well maintained. You cannot get closer to the beach. The sea life was crazy and the kids each git stung by jelly fish whixh was unfortunate. Did not like having to be on high alert for that. I feel the owner is not getri g their monies worth from the cleaning company though.
Very sorry to hear that the condo cleaning was not done properly. I would have contacted my cleaning company to remedy the problem areas immediately. I will correct this problem and take the proper actions to see that this is an isolated case.

If you want to use this option, it is not available if you select the yellow oval called "Request to Book" since a credit card payment is the only option given. Under this tab is "Ask the Owner a Question". I can set up the eCheck for a payment option when this is selected. You can also call a VRBO representative to have this set up for you. Parking passes are $25 per vehicle. Indicate how many passes you will need. Peak summer May 27 thru August 04 rental by the week only.
