About the property

3 bedroom, 1 bath which sleeps 8, near MSU, and downtown

Welcome to our VRBO page! Bridger Guesthouse is a brand new vacation rental, and we would love any sort of feedback on our accommodations and rental page.

Our 3 bedroom, 1 bath home has a full kitchen (micro., dw., range full sized fridge), and laundry area with a washer/dryer. There is a large fenced yard, with a large front patio, with views of the Bridger Range to the north. Parking for RV's with plugins. No waste dumping. Off-street parking, with plenty of parking on street as well. We landscape with native regional plants of the Northern Rockies.

This neighborhood is the quintessential college town neighborhood, and is very close to everything. MSU is less than 10 blocks to the west, and the Museum is a short walk down the Gallagator-Linear Trail to the south. Peet's Hill/Burke Park is about 1/2 mile walk, Christie Fields is a few blocks away. Downtown is about 1 mile, and accessed through multiple spots, branching off of the Linear Trail. Take the trail directly to Lindley Park and the Bozeman Public Library as well!

We offer guided tours as well (Sun-Tues), and offer a booklet with many fun vacation (stay-cations for us!) ideas and planned trips. We could also arrange guided tours and car rentals if needed. If you are looking for some high mountain adventure, we are the people who can fill you in on the best, less traveled paths from Billings to Missoula, and down into Jackson Hole, WY.

Clean and Nice house

  • 5 of 5

We were there for less than 12 hours as we got in on late flights and then got up early to ski Bridger Bowl. Met our needs perfectly as it was less than 20 minutes from airport and a bit over 30 minutes to get to Bridger Bowl for skiing in the morning. The coffee machine was the only electronic we used and it worked great. It was very easy for us to access the house.

Good Value

  • 4 of 5

Comfortable 3 bedroom house with one bath, which worked out OK for our 2 families. Our first airbnb and it worked much better than having 2 motel rooms, for the same price. My daughter's old high school buddies were able to come and visit - the women chatted and sipped wine, the men watched football, and the children played. I thought it would be cheaper than a motel, but by the time we paid cleaning fee and renter's insurance, the cost was the same. But the ability to comfortably visit with friends was much better than motel!

Nice to have the dishes and basic spices and some salad dressings. Everything we needed was there. There's a nice library, and family games. Good location- close to town, the museum, university, and walking trail.

GREAT Rental. Very Affordable and Great location.

  • 5 of 5

Our family drove from Colorado for a college visit to Montana State University. We needed a place to stay that was within our budget - and very important to us - was to be able to bring our dog with us as we consider him part of the family! This rental met all of our expectations. It was very spacious to accommodate 2 Adults and 2 teenagers. It was wonderful to have the fenced in yard for our dog. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen well equipped with all necessary items. Location was close to the University, to town, and to hiking trails. All the beds were very comfortable - and again can't say enough about the cleanliness of the apartment. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Quiet location, excellent condition, great communication. Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

The Bridger Guest House is just about a mile from downtown Bozeman and from the Montana State University campus. There is a great walking trail system in Bozeman as well as free shuttle buses that make getting around town very, very easy. The house was very comfortable and has been nicely updated recently. The owners had great communication with us prior to our stay and everything was exactly as described. We would definitely stay here again!

It was ok. I was disappointed because it says it sleeps 8, but there are only 6 beds.

  • 3 of 5

It does say we could set up an air mattress in the living room, which is fine but I feel like if you advertise that it sleeps 8.....the owner should provide the air mattress and bedding.

Owner's Response: Emily, there is definitely an air mattress in the unit. It is a deluxe queen air mattress, with a fabric top, located next to the Pack'N'Play in the large bedroom. Many of our guests have used it. The sheets are in the living room in the corner cabinet. There are extra pillows in every closet. We are also always available for any guests which may need any help finding any items in the guesthouse, since they tend to get moved around a lot. I sincerely apologize that your trip wasn't as great as it should have been.

I took a large group of kids to stay the night in Bozeman and we found the house to be pristine and well appointed. I beautiful yard and 3 great bedrooms with plenty of space. The owner was very flexible with our group and was super accommodating!

About Meagan

We met while doing seasonal work in Yellowstone National Park. That was the start of our life adventure, which now includes 2 little girls, and a vacation rental! We have many years of property management experience, as well as experience in the hospitality business.

We strive to make your stay excellent, and as fun as possible. Whatever activities you come here for, I am sure we can help guide you in the right direction. If you would like some guided hiking, we are available from Sundays to Tuesdays. Inquire about prices!

Meagan purchased this townhome in 2015

Why Meagan chose Bozeman

This property would be excellent for parents coming to check out Montana State University for MSUFridays, or just to see what Bozeman is all about. Our neighborhood is surrounded by parks, and is the only vacation rental in this particular spot. The trail system is across the street, and downtown is about a mile away, so you do not need a car.

What makes this townhome unique

Walking distance to just about everything Bozeman has to offer: MSU, library, museum, multiple parks, and of course downtown. Our favorite walk is to Peet's Hill for sunset picnics with our little family. Come and see what this place is all about!
