Great views, very nice open concept, close to everything
My family stayed here for three weeks in July and enjoyed our stay. It's a great property that is three (steep, uphill on the way back) walking blocks from Seaside Market, Pipes, Starbucks, Zumbar and other places you'll go during your stay.
The hot tub on the rooftop is amazing, and the outdoor vibe of the whole place is wonderful. You'll really enjoy yourself here.
The only downside for us was that it does NOT have air conditioning. We stayed in late June through mid-July and we have a toddler. In the evenings sleeping it was uncomfortably warm, even with the provided fans and the overhead ceiling fans (everywhere except the master). Also, and you could get used to this if you're staying long enough, a train goes by a few blocks down near the water several times an hour and honks its horn a few times each time it goes by. It does this up until around 1130 or so at night, and then every once in awhile overnight. I mention it only because in order for us to sleep comfortably we had to leave the windows and doors open to the master, which meant that we heard the horn constantly, waking us up a few times through the night, even with earplugs.
Even considering this, it's still a wonderful place to stay, even though I'd characterize it as a bit overpriced without AC and the accompanying inconveniences. With all fees we ended up paying $750 a night, which is quite a premium for a place with no AC.
