About Kaayla Lea
I followed my three sons who were tree planting to Nelson, BC. Where I fell in love with the lifestyle and beauty of the surrounding area and towns.
Kaayla Lea purchased this Apartment in 2006
Why Kaayla Lea chose Ainsworth Hot Springs
The beach was my sanctuary before I bought the house, it is peaceful with and views up and down the lake are exquisite.
What makes this Apartment unique
The hot springs have caves and three pools, as well as gorgeous views as you lounge in the spring waters. There are many outdoor sports, such as swimming, hiking, and fishing. There are also little towns that you will want to explore.

Fully enjoyed our stay. Great accommodations. Perfect location accross from hot springs.
Everything was excellent. Comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice deck with great view. Good beach access. Adequate parking close to entrance. Affordable. We cannot say enough about our stay. We expect to return as soon as we can.
Thanks Steve! We look forward to your next stay.
Gorgeous view and the cutest coziest place! Right across the street from the hot Springs.
Good location by hot springs but odor in bedroom
We enjoyed staying there but we're disappointed in the odor in the bedroom. There was a sewer smell and it seemed to come from the enclosed space where washer was. We positioned a fan to try and help mitigate it.
We are trying to understand this because we can't find any odour now and not sure where the odour was coming from. The cleaner went in after the guest stayed and there was no odour. The Septic is new and in very good condition. Someone said that the Septic for the hot springs was cleaned out during that time and a smell was generated into the town which could have seeped into the house somehow through the vent where the dryer is. I am sorry that the guest had this experience. I do know that it is not an issue now and has never been a problem in the past and hopefully will never happen again.
Great location, great view!
Loved where the property is located, beautiful view! Great restaurants within 15 min each direction. Stocked kitchen if you want to cook your own food. The only down side at all was the house had a TON of spider webs and spiders upon arrival, so my husband had to clean up webs and kill spiders for 15 min after getting there. After that things were perfect!! Would recommend house keeper spraying for spiders and vacuuming up all the webs.
I will tell the housekeeper. We actually don't kill the spiders. We capture them and put them outside. When I was last in the apartment there were no spiders so I will definitely make sure it doesn't happen again.
Sit on the Deck and watch the water or walk across the street to the Hot Springs, tough choices to make while staying here. Well furnished spacious apartment is on my "return to" list.
Nicely appointed, but drawbacks.
The apartment is comfortable with a great view on the lake. It should be noted that the apartment is right next to the road and there can be significant road noise. The neighbors downstairs were loud and smoke wafted to the deck from their area below - unpleasant for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much everything you need. Very clean, nice decor, and comfotable. On another day/evening it might have been a better story.
There are several festivals particularly in Kaslo about 15 minutes from Ainsworth. Kaslo is like a fairytale town to me overlooking the water with fantastic restaurants, organic groceries and people who love an alternative way of life.
