Gorgeous Oceanview townhome style condo at Tanglewood resort in Parksville, British Columbia, located immediately beside the beach access to Rathtrevor Beach (only approx. 35 steps to the beach from the condo) which boasts the WARMEST OCEAN WATER NORTH OF CALIFORNIA (the region is known as “Canada’s Riviera”).

Our 1200 sq. ft. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms plus sofa bed condo on the second floor (top floor) enjoys an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and two private decks (one on the roof) that take full advantage of the stunning ocean and beach views. The unit features a large kitchen with all the amenities of home, full size washer and dryer, and complete linen sets and beach towels available for your use. There is also a locked storage crawl space in the parking area that you can use to store your bikes and other beach items during your stay. There are several skim boards, inflatable toys and other plastic beach toys etc. located in this storage area.

Tanglewood resort is a waterfront beach level recreational development on a sandy beach adjacent to Rathtrevor Provincial Park (British Columbia’s most popular provincial campground) with 5 km of the nicest soft, warm sandy level beach on the east coast of Vancouver Island. One of the Best Beaches for Family Fun in Canada! – Beachcomb for hours in the Warm Soft Sand and Tidal Pools. The provincial park has wonderful ocean front and forested walking and biking trails. There is also a dedicated fire pit on the beach reserved for Tanglewood owners and guests. Sorry not pets.

Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of THE RENTER. 4.The Rental Party and Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours. Strata complex quiet hours are from 11:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. No vehicles are permitted to leave Tanglewood before 7:00 A.M. If an early morning exit is required, the vehicle should be parked the previous evening in one of the designated parking lots at the top of the hill. 5.All of the units are privately owned; the Homeowners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of any of the Rental Party and Guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all members of the Rental Party and Guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the property or others whom they invite to use the property. 6.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. 7.Only use appliances for their intended uses. 8.Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. 9.Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. 10.Before departing, the THE RENTER will ensure all dishes are clean and put away.

Lovely beachside property
Enjoyed our stay immensely. Some of the decor and interior is dated and many of the beach items are broken, but to us, those are minor things that did not impact our enjoyment of the property. The owners were receptive to feedback and were readily available when we encountered one little hiccough with the front door. Beach views are great and the upper patio is a wonderful place for an afternoon nap!

Location was amazing, sunrise was so very stunning - unfortunately the unit was worn and needed updating. Bed was comfortable but bedding was Very dated. Unit had everything we needed, except We stayed for a week and had to purchase garbage bags and toilet paper, no extra stock.

Coming Home
This was our 3rd stay in Tanglewood 8 and words can't describe the calm we enjoyed. Sitting on the green chaise lounge, drinking a morning coffee while looking out at the sunrise was restoring. We'll be back!

Having grown up on Vancouver Island and travelled extensively with my family all over 'the Island', the Parksville area and in particular Rathtrevor Beach are by far the nicest part of this region.

Why they chose this property

This area and property are very special to us as we got engaged nearby and our children have enjoyed many summers on beautiful Rathtrevor Beach. We also camped at Rathrevor Provincial Park with our respective families 40 years ago so we both have a very strong connection to the beach.

What makes this property unique

The spectacular views from various areas of the townhouse and the open floor plan sold us immediately on the unit. The very short walk to the beach (approximately 35 steps) was a bonus as anyone with children will know, you are constantly carrying toys and other items to/from the beach.
