Why Sanchez chose Charleston
This property is perfectly located so you can easily get to downtown to enjoy the clubs, restaurants, and cultural experiences or quickly get to the hip parts of Folly beach. It is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, so it is ideal when it is time to rest and relax. THIS IS A PROPERTY FOR NATURE LOVERS! Birds and flowers are all around. There is a garden with fresh black berries & blueberries growing. It is wonderful to hear the birds in the morning and enjoy the natural setting. Although we do our best to control them, be aware of mosquitoes in the summer. You can take a walk down to many the parks and over look the Charleston Harbor to see dolphins and marine life. There is a bicycle trail that you can take down to Fort Johnson Marine Lab and walk the nature trails. There are tennis courts and a playground right around the corner. There is a new park and playground just down the street that you can take right up to the Parrot Creek. The house is laid out with 3 bedrooms and bathroom upstairs and one bedroom and bathroom down stairs. There is a large family room with a wrap around sofa that also has a pull out bed. There is a separate room with a piano and extra seating. We have books and board games in the closet. This is a great house for families and friends to enjoy all the things that Charleston has to offer and have a quiet, natural refuge to relax and spend quality time together.
What makes this House unique
There is a nice, wooden deck overlooking the green backyard surrounded by oak trees. This is one of the most sought after neighborhoods. There is a big kitchen with all the amenities. If you like to cook, you can visit one of the many farmers markets, local grocery store and/or go down to the waterfront to buy fresh seafood that comes right off the boat. Then enjoy cooking in the kitchen and/or barbecuing on our gas grill. If you would rather eat out, you have loads of restaurants and eateries all around. Charleston is known as a foodie town. (See location descriptions for golf, tennis, swimming, gyms, yoga studios, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, sailing, motor boating, historic sites, and much more near by) We do not have cable TV. We do have good WiFi , we use fire stick with a projector that can connect onto a large, pull down movie screen for home movies! There is a DVD player and surround sound system as well.

Not value for money
Some parts of the house should be renovated, the bathrooms are really from the 1950’s, the shower is too small, and the faucets very hard to open and close. Most things are old, needs a renovation now. The owners are very nice people, good service. But the price of the rent is overrated for what you get. Would have been far nicer if things were like it’s supposed to be. The information you get on the site doesn’t cover what it is in reality. The pictures lie to you.
Great family home!
6 adults and 2 children we really enjoyed our time in your home! We cooked, watched movies, played the piano and ate together at the dining room table and the kitchen table! The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Thank you!
Great Stay in Charleston
Our party consisted of two parents, two daughters and three grandchildren ranging in age from 9 to 11. The house had a number of excellent features, including many different rooms for the kids to explore. There was no cable TV (mentioned ahead of time, so it was no surprise), but we really didn't miss it. The availability of a washer and dryer without having to feed a ton of quarters was very helpful. The bathroom and shower for the downstairs were rather tight, but otherwise OK. This is not a new home, but is in very good condition.
The house is excellent .
My family gathered in Charleston for a celebration for my nephew. The Sanchez home was perfect for us to spread out in. We enjoyed a cookout dinner and the well-stocked kitchen. After dinner we went to Folly Beach for an evening walk on the beach and to see the beautiful sunset. The home was clean and comfortable and I’m so grateful they shared it with us.
Roomy, Relaxing, Convenient
Ian and Lucy went above and beyond preparing for our stay. The house was very clean and well equipped to meet all of our needs. It was easy to get to everything we wanted to do and gave us a lot of family time at the house as well.
