About Wilton Thompson
My family and I have been coming to the area since the 1960's. One of my daughters moved to Port St. Joe in the early 1990s. This area is among the world's best vacation destinations.
Wilton Thompson purchased this Townhome in 1995
Why Wilton Thompson chose Port St. Joe
The beautiful view and quiet location of the beach. Recently renovated with all new tile/wood floors, paint, and fixtures.
What makes this Townhome unique
Charming townhome on The Forgotten Coast of Saint Joe Beach. Very quiet part of the beach.

My husband and I had a great 3 night getaway here. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, there was a washer/dryer and an outside shower. The half bath downstairs was very convenient. Everything was in good working order, especially the refrigerator. We’ve stayed at beach properties in the past where the refrigerator just wouldn’t stay cold enough; no problems here! We loved the location, directly across the street from the beach with an easy walk on the dune path. The water was so calm and we didn’t come across many people on the beach. We had a delicious dinner at Shipwreck Raw Bar that is within walking distance, and the Dollar General that is close had everything we needed to make breakfast/lunches. Mr. Thompson couldn't have been nicer. He was quick to reply and very easy to work with; he even checked in with us after we arrived to make sure everything was in order. We had one day of rain and really appreciated the the collection of jigsaw puzzles to keep us occupied. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.
Thank you for your very kind and thoughtful review. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay, and hope that you decide to come back to our beautiful little piece of paradise in the future.
Great place with the best spot on the beach!
We loved staying here for a small family vacation. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach was right across the street and perfect if you like your own space! The owner was wonderful and great at communicating with us about the property. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
Great place to stay.
Great place to stay, Sandy beach across the street, close to grocery stores and dollar store. Furniture was comfortable. We would stay there again. Owner kept in contact with us. Two negatives was that there were no dish towels, and only one universal remote for two tv's, other than that it is a great place.
VERY clean and neat. We walked to the shipwreck bar for a marvelous dinner.
Owner was exceptionally helpful and kind!!
It was clean, easy to find great beach access
Nice area, townhouse was clean, plenty of parking and beach access right across the road. Only minor issues~ no iron as stated on website and wifi was not real great. However our stay was fine and relaxing.
This vacation was perfect!
This was our first time staying in Port Saint Joe and it was wonderful. The townhouse was perfect and I highly recommend it.
Close to St Vincent's Island Wildlife Refuge. Apalachicola, Port St. Joe, and Mexico Beach have quaint shops and great restaurants with fresh, local gulf seafood! Close to Howard Creek, Indian Pass, Cape San Blas, Beacon Hill, East Bay, Dead Lakes, Apalachicola River, and Lake Wimico. Panama City is a short, 20 minute drive down HWY 98 West.
