Lovely home, wonderful hospitality! We had such a nice stay, everything was better than expected. The home was immaculate and in a perfect location. We were a 7 minute walk to transition, and about the same to the finish line. The run route has several passes only a block or so from the house. The front porch is where we spent most of our off time. We remarked several times how quiet it is there - especially being so close to all the Ironman activities. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to keep our Ironman (and his support crew) fueled for the event. Beds were comfy, plenty of pillows and other linens. We could not be happier with our choice and will certainly hope to stay here again if we do Ironman Maryland. The only change I would make is to stay longer next time as it certainly was a stress-free, relaxing, home away from home. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Thank you, Linda, for your complimentary review. It was a pleasure to have you and your son and daughter stay at our house. You were the perfect guests!
Beautiful home perfect for Eagleman race
We just stayed at this home for Eagleman and can't say enough about the owner's hospitality. The house is well appointed with the owner's impressive art work and furnishings are very comfortable. It is only a few blocks away from transition making it very convenient and the owners were great hosts to make sure we had everything needed to limit pre-race stress levels. My only hesitation giving a 5-star review is someone else may rent it before we do if we go back next year!
This is the perfect house for Ironman Maryland. It is set back two blocks from the run course, you can easily see your athlete several times on the run. It is about a block from the shuttle that takes you out to the bike course. We had an easy time as speculators as it is nearly half way from the swim/ bike transition and the finish. The house itself is beautifully appointed, there is amazing art throughout the house. The owners were warm and welcoming. I am thankful they shared their lovely home it made our Ironman experience relaxed and enjoyable, we were not stressed rushing around.
Excellent location for the Ironman event. Only a ten minute walk to the venue. The home was cozy and well equipped with various amenities. The owners were very courteous.
So glad you had a great stay for your Eagleman race! We'd love to welcome you back anytime!
