About Larry Haskell
Family and Friends are a very important part of our life- Holly Knoll provides that escape from the everyday and the opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, nature and those we love.
Larry Haskell purchased this House in 1993
Why Larry Haskell chose Lexington Park
Privacy and quality time with family have been the hallmarks of our property. Originally, the property was a gift from my Grandparents, who located to the area in 1916.
What makes this House unique
The light filled living room with comfortable furnishings, the chef's kitchen, the landscaping and pool along with the abundant wildlife make for a relaxing family get away. Here is a review that sums up the unique nature of Holly Knoll! "We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Holly Knoll. The location truly takes you away from it all and you are immersed in a beautiful natural environment. Our family spent our time relaxing in and around the pool, watching the sun peak up over the trees at sunrise listening to the chorus of birds, and enjoying the natural environment from the comfort of the living room with walls of windows. We also took advantage of the crab pots and had a delicious crab feast mid week. At home, our TV is often on, but at Holly Knoll we only turned it on twice during our entire trip - we were too busy enjoying the home! Larry was incredibly kind, responsive and helpful. We never felt like we were bothering him when we touched based. He also provided some fantastic dinner recommendations, of which we tried three and loved! If you're looking to disconnect and recharge, Holly Knoll is a wonderful respite from the every day."

Nice property, very enjoyable stay
Everything was very easy from booking through departure. Our family had a great time. The house and property are very nice esp. the pool and access to the river. Lots of things to do/places to visit within driving distance. Would definitely consider coming again.
Great stay in St Mary's
Very nice property on the shore. Pool was lovely. We thought it was going to be too shady but was the perfect balance between shade and sun. We tried a few of the owner's suggestions for local places to visit and eat and were not disappointed. Had a very quirky and interesting meal at Courtney's so it's worth a try. Interesting visit to historic St. Mary's City.
We had a nice walk then lunch in Solomon Island. Back at the house we caught crabs off the pier and saw some spectacular
sunsets. This was one of the best equipped houses we have ever rented. The perfect house for relaxation. Owner was very responsive and helpful.
Magical River/Forest Views
Very Nice Property. My two grandchildren loved swimming in the pool. The crab pots were a treat we caught three edible size crabs. Owner very responsive called me to make sure everything was going well. We didn't get a chance to use the kayaks weather was pretty windy most of our time there, which blew out the river for boating. We did get to enjoy the thunder and lighting storms through the many windows along with the firefly's. We were very comfortable and would definitely recommend and stay again. Beautiful home magical view.
Fantastic house and location
We rent houses all over the world, and this house was one of the nicest and best equipped of all the places we have stayed over the years. The pool is beautiful and the nearby beaches are spectacular. I am a chef by training, and the kitchen had everything I needed, including sharp knives which is a luxury I’m not used to when renting vacation homes. Thanks again for making our vacation so memorable Larry!
This property was perfect for our visit. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped (better than what we have at home!). The beds were comfortable, as was the furniture. The grounds were very well maintained. We loved the pool and fishing/crabbing from the dock. Everything there was top notch. We especially liked the fact that we did not have to cross the dreaded Chesapeake Bridge to get to this house. We certainly hope to return.
Do as little or as much as you want. Swim, fish, boat. House was great
The Chesapeake Bay defines this rural tidewater community blessed with abundant water activities. It offers a quiet respite from the everyday.
We have a long-term tenant who resides on the property in a separate private studio apartment. The pool, dock, porch and other areas of the property are for your enjoyment as the tenant does access those areas. Any questions please send me a text or email. Thanks
