A beautiful three-story, three bedroom/3.5 bath condominium with comfortable at home feeling. Owner has taken the extra effort to ensure condominium meets standards beyond the expected level of comfort, convenience and cleanliness.
Up-keep and guest satisfaction are our number one priority. Located in the Popular Mariner's Walk condominiums of Wild Dunes, you can sit on upper or lower deck and watch the world go by, including dolphins and cruise ships, or walk on the six miles of beautiful beach.
Children love the tide pools on the beach, renting bikes and swimming in the pool (also includes kiddie pool). Plenty of great restaurants and things to do in immediate area or just 20 minutes to downtown Charleston and all the Southern charm it offers.
Returning from another wonderful IOP vacation. We have stayed at many Wild Dunes condos/homes over the last 20 years. Mariners Walk is an ocean front complex about 2/3 of the way down beach toward the point. Good amount of beach even with high tide. This complex has 2 access points which is very nice. One has stair and the other a ramp so you can take wagon, wheelchair stroller as long as it has not rained significantly because the water can obstruct beach access. Nice pool with a separate baby pool. Not many chairs tables or shade. Very crowded in summer. Bedroom are good size but no king beds. Like the 2 full in one of the bedrooms instead of twins. The first floor is crowded with the huge leather sofa and kitchen is tiny. I like to cook and thus was not ideal! Many of the condos in the area in this price range have been remodeled and this one could use a little. Still pretty clean but carpet could use update. Lots of steps so better for those who don't have mobility issues. Nice owners who are easy to work with. Bring your own beach chairs if you don't like sitting on camping chairs.
We enjoyed our stay at the three level condo on Isle of Palms - it was very clean and as expected as far as quality. The only commentary I would leave is that the hot water is very minimal so you might want to have that checked out - also the upstairs bathroom fan does not work. Its probably best to bring your own hairdryers - those provided are the super small ones attached to the wall (not much power). We really enjoyed our stay and the views. Thanks Mike.
If you are looking for a great deal right on the water, this is it! With two porches overlooking the ocean, and well kept and well appointed rooms, you will not be disappointed. Literally, all but one room in the house have a view of the ocean. And the owners are so helpful and easy to work with. Whether you are a couple getting away for the week or a family on vacation, this is the place you want to stay!
It seemed like finding a needle in a haystack. When I picked this condo, based on some pretty good pictures on the internet, I was just hoping for the best. WOW! We just got back from a few days at Mariner's Walk, and we're very pleased. It was a great trip, enhanced by all thoughtful little touches... games, movies, some spices in the cabinets. AMAZING, OUTSTANDING. All out good time. Those last couple phrases came from my 10 year old son. Thanks, we hope to come back.
We had a great week at this beautiful oceanfront property. Great location with stunning ocean views and easy beach access. Fully-equipped for a weekend getaway or an entire week with family. Very comfortable and nicely appointed. Owners are very responsive to even the slightest inconvenience (we had a squeak in the dryer and they had it fixed within 24 hours!). We will definitely get our names in the hat to rent this property next summer!
We have been staying in this wonderful condo one week a year for six years now. Well past due for a good review right? This place is perfect to spend time with family. It’s super clean with everything you have at home plus a beach right outside. I have been visiting Wild Dunes for over 25 years and this is my very favorite place to stay. Inside and out this place is a steal for the price. You will not find better people to deal with anywhere. Again, I should have left review years ago but this is our vacation home every year so I didn’t want to share. We now have elite status so I feel safe sharing my secret. Best of the best here, honestly!
Two Fazio Golf Courses and many others in area, Museums/Art Galleries, Aquarium, Patriots Point with Tours of USS Yorktown, Historic Charleston has Ghost Walks, Horse and Buggy, Walking Tours, Plantations, Garden Tours, Fort Sumter tours, lots of history.
